Yeah, couldn't agree more. Wonder if Sony knew about the format beforehand and decided to skip it. Can't believe how some people are defending this thing. Horrible format, horrible sets, horrible hosts, horrible jokes. The only saving grace is they chose a live stream for the distribution, which is even less than cable TV. It will be rerun but nobody is going to sit through that. It's kind of an indicator how different areas of cable TV are failing. History Channel is garbage, Syfy is garbage, the video game shows have all collapsed, SpikeTV has lost anything that made it edgy. The only bright spots are AMC and HBO. Geoff Keighley is so slimy, I have to take a shower after seeing him as some kind of games interveiwer. This nextgen needs a nextgen set of video game personalities and venues, get rid of these old outdated people like Keighley and Sessler.

I agree. There were some nice funny moments, particularly the Tim and Eric guys, Rooster teeth, MAtt & trey, and I enjoy Joel McHale's humour as well.

It's not for everyone though. But I agree, it was awkward, not to mention Geoff was a little bit too serious and/or didn't flow with the punches.

    Terrible show...

Reggie shows up for the first time to reveal.... Kranky Kong?!?!?, That's it?!?!
We hear Titanfall being hyped up and we get.... A new Titan?!?!?
Tales of the Borderlands? not enough details
Tomb Raider? Woo oooo, another "upgraded" port!
GTAV Game of the Year? Talk about keeping the status Quo!

Highlights for me? Joel Banderas and Quantum Break.

SONY must feel pretty confident to not show some big guns and sway the ones that are still fence sitting.

    Next Gen top picks:
    PS4: Infamous SS, DriveClub
    One: Project spark, Forza 5
Multi: Watchdogs, The crew, FFXV, KHIII

I'm tired. I'm tired about hearing about stuff that they'll announce instead of announcing them. I don't want to wait all the way till E3 to see some new stuff.

God Damn it just give me a high profile reveal of Demon's Souls 2, helmed by Japan Studio, and that's all I'll need.
Lol I rather not know than to know what they have coming but then it turns out to be 2-3 years away, no thank you! Announce when it's months (Max a year) away.

As for Sony feeling confident? Of course they are lol, they can barely keep up with demand and by the time ps4 numbers start dropping, GDC and E3 2014 will be around the corner. Game wise, next year is already set for them with drive club, infamous, the order from First party. Then major triple A 3rd party Games like watch dogs, the division, destiny, the Witcher, dying light etc... and not to forget the free to play games and indie titles.

I'm pretty sure E3 2014 they will not show the same games we've seen before (except for extended extended gameplay from the order and Uncharted footage reveal). Next year should also have all there first party studios talking about there upcoming/on going projects

To be fair, Nintendo said before the event that they were going to discuss a previously announced game and most fans suspected it would be Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Anyone who expected a new game reveal should instead watch their Nintendo Direct videos.

My only question now is will Sony find another event to reveal some more games between now and E3? Seems way too long without announcing any new titles or at least showing a proper trailer for Uncharted 4.
