DS4Tool 1.1 Beta 3 adds touchpad support. Works quite well.

    Beta 3 is out!

    Touchpad support:
    Sensitivity slider in options
    L1+R2+Touchpad press - enables touchpad
    L1+Touchpad press - disables touchpad
L1 and R1 act as mouse buttons (while touchpad is enabled)

    Battery indication:
Use LED as battery indicator checkbox (green to red)
Flash LED below 20% battery checkbox

Almost completely rewritten DS4 code so hopefully less input lag on both USB/BT

    In the future:

    More bug fixes
Enchanced touchpad support (maybe tap to click, hold mouse buttons for drag support)
Battery LED indication mapped to hotkey

    Known issues:
touchpad /left and right click work only on desktop / certain apps and games

Been using this app for a while - it's excellent on AC4. Scroll down to DS4Tool_1.1_Beta_3.zip.

Awesome! This could make the DS4 a great XBMC remote.

Interesting... I might pick up a DS4 before I even get a PS4. Need a new pad for racing games on PC as I broke my 360 one

Sounds like the PS4 controller is slowly on its way to becoming the first choice for controller gaming on the PC. It was very wise of Sony to make it compatible with the computer.

Doesn't look like Sony made it compatible. Isn't this tool, a third-party tool? People got the DS3 to work with the PC the same way.
