What is your wired internet speed with the PS4?

We all saw a well welcomed speed bump in network speed with the PS4.
I'm around 50Mbps wirelessly, which is much better than PS3 but I'm wondering what people get on wired connections. See if it's worth it pulling an ethernet connection to the living room.

The only difference for me would be the slight latency of wireless removed and going from type 2 to type 1. The bandwidth is still the same when wired compared to wireless.

I'm currently getting 88.5mbps down, 4.3mbps up….. Ethernet Connected…. I would imagine Wired is a mega difference to wireless.

I can't get anything faster, no cable round here.. Not many virgins either, apart from the ones they keep back to offer up as sacrifices! May as well be up a mountain, I'm in a small village close to the west coast. We only got electricity and running water a few years back!

Both wired and wireless are capping out at my ISP's delivery capabilities (Getting 24Mbps out of my 25Mbps service.)

I'll 2nd F34R's comment on NAT 2 vs 1, there's less than 1ms in my system between Modem and End Equipment for wired or wireless. I hate that they (Sony) labels this as NAT2 even though it's being port forwarded and doesn't have any more address translation than my wired connection has.

Although I had that on PS3 too so, makes no difference to me with the speed increase
But I do get my full speed on WiFi now which was halfed on PS3 hence why I use wired.

Ok, your post was enough to send me cable hunting.

I run a couple dozen tests comparing wireless with wired. It did not help with NAT Type2 but it nearly doubled my download.

Upload speed is most likely bogus, since I have a 100down/10up connection. I could upgrade to a 200/20 just to test if it will go any faster but I suspect it won't.

    This is my internet speed:

But my PS4 speed test only gives around 35 Mbps Download and 5 Mbps Upload on the systems speed test, this don't seem normal to me and I'm wired and NAT type 2.

Is the systems speed test buggy or is there something i can do to get better speeds?

I get around 48 Mpbs on a wired connection. It's more than half that on a Wi-Fi connection, presumably due to the amount of devices on my wireless network.
