    Disc Problem?

So I bought and played both NFS and AC disc based games no problems at all, both installed on my hard drive as normal and played silently.

Got Knack today, disc again, but this time the disc is making a helluva noise. It's just a loud vibrating noise on the ps4 menu screen and when playing the game. It says it's downloaded in system storage management (35GB).

Any ideas? I have tried wiping the disc and switching console on/off but nothing.

Are there any problems with the actual game itself? No freezing or skipping? When you take Knack out and pop AC or NFS in is it quiet again?

Game plays fine, and if I put in any other games its back to being quiet. I just deleted the 35gb install for Knack while the game is in the drive, and the ps4 stopped vibrating. I'll try re-downloading again...

It made the same noise for the first 10 minutes or so of gameplay, now its running quieter but it's still louder than NFS and AC were. Definitely loud enough to be noticeable... kinda scared, maybe it will sort itself out. Thanks for the help though!

Could just be a small issue with the game disc, just keep your eye on it and see how it goes, as long as the game doesn't freeze or start to skip you should be ok

Keep in mind that when you first play the game, the game install, installs in the background so you will hear the drive going for about 20 min or something why it installs, after that it will only read from the disk when you start the game.

No problem, Hopefully that's all it is. Just one of the new things on next gen that we still have to get use to as all the games are able to install in the background why your able to launch the game and able to play.
