Can't connect to PSN almost every night

    Hi,

Almost every evening I can't connect. Internet is working fine. Ps4 connection test fails at signing in into psn. First too tests (aquire ip and internet access) passes without problems.

Is psn really that unstable or something is wrong with my console?

(At this moment my console doesn't connect to PSN)

The problem more likely is with your router.

On PSN right now and haven't had a problem. Are you wired or wireless?

Haven't tested yet the browser during PSN sign in failures.

My connection is wired and PS4 is connected to internet via UTP cable. On the same router/switch I have many devices. And all of them have a perfect access to the internet. Even during PSN Sign in failures.

So I don't think it's my internet connection or router. Because I would have problems with other devices.

    Maybe that's true.
But I didn't notice anybody complaining about PSN problems in this forum.

Personally only had a couple days between Xmas and New Years that had a little bit of PSN issues. PS4 connected to the internet fine just had unstable connection to PSN itself. That said, it didn't affect my online game play when I connected to games such as Warframe and DCUO.

I'm sure these were days of very higher than normal usage and thus stressed the PSN servers during that timeframe.

Are you still having problems now?

My internet and router is good. I have a very stable and reliable 100Mbps internet. When I can't sign in to PSN - internet is working fine. I tested in in other devices and everything (computer, HTPC) runs without any problems at 10MB/s speed (fully utilizing a total capacity).

But PS4 refuses to sign in and gives me this error:

I tested browser in PS4 and it works and opens pages without any problems.

    Yes.

It accured yesterday as well. Turned ON console, logged in and.. no info in What's new tab. No online friends. Can't open Store. Connection test fails at PSN Sign In step.

But.. I logged out and logged in with my son's account and everything went alive after 1 minute. I logged back to my account and it was OK too.

I will try not to turn off my PS4 and always leave it in Standby. Maybe that will help. As it seems that in Standby mode PS4 stays always connected to PSN.
