FitBit and JawBone already do this xD I liked the UI of Life Blog but I already own a FitBit One.

The only thing that really excited my was the Xperia Z1 compact. Too bad that yellow is ugly and pink is too girly, I wanted a purple one

Move (not yet named that) was revealed at CES way back in 2002, I believe. Of course, we had to wait 7 years for it to be finalized...

Nothing they said about the VR display hinted toward it competing with OR. Even the head tracking was more that it would stretch the view out so you could look a bit to one side or the other, not the all encompasing thing that OR does. It's just more of the same with their current (very expensive) HMDs.

There was VR talk but you have to wear SONY's current HMZ-T3 headset with a motion tracker strapped onto the back strap of the headset.

Speak for yourself. That 85" 4K display might have my name on it.

For those of you asking, Kaz Hirais keynote will be at 10:30AM Pacific Standard Time this morning. Approximately 2 hours from now.

I'm more interested in 4K on smaller screens, higher pixels per inch. Yum

Kaz Hirai to take the stage in 15 minutes

..and there are burning questions looming on my mind.

Will there be a second explosion of Kaz gifs?

    Will NeoGAF servers crash?

Will there be a Playstation app for Core?

..Will RIIIIIIIIIIIIDGE RAAAAAAAACEEERRRRRRR be ready for the Japanese launch?

    ...

They briefly showed the helmet yesterday but said almost nothing about it. Seemed like some dude on an airplane was wearing one and they said it was like a personal display rather than mention VR. Of course, it wasn't a Playstation branded product either.

I guess that makes sense, but they need to make sure a few things are in order
    1. OR has a field of view that requires you to look around. I believe the HMV's FoV is much smaller. Nice for keeping things high definition. Bad for immersion.
    2. What is the latency on the HMV? The latency on the OR has reduced a great deal since its first prototype, because that is a key component in avoiding motion sickness that has always plagued VR.

I guess it's only really those two.
