We've been officially in a blizzard the past 24 hours. There's a decent amount of snow but the wind cuts right through you. -16c right now feels like -24c with the wind.

Well tomorrow is going to 63 degrees and the next ten days will be mostly mid to upper 60's with some upper 50's so this cold front is rollling out of here.

Supposed to get down to 20 tonight but will be getting back to topical weather tomorrow night at 32. I'm ready. I've been rolling through firewood.

I got a little over 17 inches of snow on Monday and this morning was -13 F (-25 C) with a wind chill of like 24 below (-31 C). Maybe the windchill was in the -30s? Can't remember.

My car almost didn't start today because of how cold Canada is, and it was only out for maybe 6-7 hours. I mean, is it that we Canadians are too nice and the weather gods see's us and are like, "$#@!ing Canadians, eh? Such nice people. Goddamn pussies, let's give them some cold, ice and more snow, rough them up a little. They're just too nice!".

I mean, wtf, we are not Antarctica, we have people here.

And just to show you how bad it was, a few weeks ago, we had a massive ice storm. Cum-ice all over us. It was so bad that there was no power for a couple of days in Toronto and the GTA. Not every single house, but in the hundred thousands range.

So, for any of you who have friends or families here in Canada, do yourselves a favour and don't come from December to March. We have a reputation of Winter lasting longer than normal countries in the world. Even Alaska's like, "Woah, I don't wanna mess with you guys, keep your $#@!in winters, we'll deal with 30 days of night and 10 PM daylight".

Here is a video of the recent ice storm we had.

bad example, it has the Toronto Maple Leafs in it.

I also had the pleasure of driving in the ice storm on the first night it came all over my car and on the highway. That was a very holy-$#@!ing-$#@!-I-don't-want-to-die kind of a drive back home.

I feel like I'm War Vet now just for surviving in a Canadian Winter for so many years. This is by far the worst one I have experienced in my 15 years of living in Canada.

This is more accurate example. Just look all that ice-cum!

We might as well join the desolate and sovereign nation of Antarctica!

Alaska, Norway, Iceland even, and any other nation or state in the world, except for Antarctica, AIN'T GOT NOTHING ON CANADA, when it comes to Winters.

And I did the stupid thing of shaving my beard off in the Winter..I'm $#@!ed.

I couldn't take that cold. Here in the south we are not used to that at all. Heat in the other hand we know much.

Perhaps, but I'd Russia has Canada beat. It's just as far north, but it's larger landmass better blocks any potential warm fronts from the water. Like Canada it also has many mountains and low, flat areas that help lock in the cold. Russia statistically appears colder than Canada, too.

Here in Arkansas we're caught rather perfectly in between the heat of the Equator and the cold North Arctic. We get wild heat and cold fronts all the time throughout most of the year. One day it'll be 60f then the very next it'll be 15f. Our winters are cold (-5 to 30f) and our summers sweltering hot (95f to 106f).

Owings Mills MD is pretty cold, but, no, not like my friends in Ohio and elsewhere north.

I remember this weather though, walked to school in it in 1988. It sucked ass too. Last time I walked to school. It was the reason I finally had to start paying for the metro bus. 1mile wasn't bad, even with my catholic school bookbag full, but, 1mile in that cold, after a week i was done. It lasted all winter.

One mile isn't bad. Even in this cold, I can easily do a mile with a book bag full of books and stuff and it wouldn't do me in at all.

Got into the teens down here in Georgia this morning. I'll probably be in shorts again by the weekend.

It's a bit late, but in Central Texas it dropped to roughly in the 30's throughout the day. I slipped on the roadway a few times, but nothing major thus-far. Today though, it's rainy, but in the 60's. It's hard to tell whether or not I need a jacket or heavy coat here!
