So waht's the cheapest I can get for building an RTS PC?

(Taking cue form Rapture) I created this thread.

So what's's the cheapest/best RTS and basically games like State of Decay and even the odd PC-only game like The Witcher 2 (even on low-med settings BUT with a smooth frame rate) - for the cheapest possible parts?

I'm not looking for a beastly PC at all, just something that doesn't lag for the above type of games.

All my 3rd party stuff will/should be taken care of the PS4.

Note, I usually use this site to look for parts etc here in NZ (http://pricespy.co.nz/).

    #IndieStation4 and proud of it.

For Cheapness probably best to go with an AMD build.

I think AMD are soon to bring out new APU chips this quarter.

Hows this for a case, the video is a bit brief.

I wouldn't necessarily need/want new. Especially if older meant cheaper.

Older means slower in the land of computers.
The AMD APUs are not going to break the bank, the current gen ones (Richland) are just over 100 or $200 in you shop you linked.

YEs - but I'm not after anything high end - just decent for the type of games I'm after.

I'm not trying to run games like BF4 (or anything for that matter) on ULTRA.

Found this on Steam forums. Gamers with AMD APUs playing various games of varying types and genres and giving detail how well they are run.
