Talked to a girl at gamestop and she told me that they are going to sell it as a bundle between $1500 to $3000 online (said the 360 did the same thing). Did anybody else hear this?

is there a limit on it and is all the stuff in the bundle at retail for example...

bundle = ps3 60gb, 12 games 1 controller for 600 plus 720.00 plus 50 = 1370

or is it

ps3 60gb 4 games and 1 controller =1370

It be like the first one you said but with a price cut. For example, ps3 60gb + 12 games + 1 controller for 1250. Mine is totally made up so dont think they will do something like this.

No way will the bundles be in that range. I'd guess that a $1500 bundle would be close to the highest.

I think this is the event that they are sending the email for if you signed up for it. Btw the “bundles” mentioned above in this thread are good jokes, IMO look for bundles to be $1000 or less……

yea they wont be 12 games...probably 2 at the most as with the majority of bundles..maybe a blueray movie...extra controller and some accessories

There was a bundle when the 360 came out that was around $4000 and included a 20 something inch LCD tv.

With the 360 i remember the cheapest bundle was around 700 or so. I'm really hoping they dont make it more than 800-900 for the cheapest 60gb bundle. If its more than that ill just wait until after xmas to get one. The only game i WANT to play this year is resistance.

If the cheapest bundle is going to $1500 @ the EB/Gamestop online pre-ordering, I think I will just have to pass and wait till I can pick up the console at the store.

There is no way I will pay more than 900.00 for a bundle and that bundle better let me pick the games I want. Otherwise like so many other posters here I'll just wait until the 16th and camp. Or just wait until next year.

Most likely not, EB/Gamestop are going to try and charge a sort of premium, its the only way they will make money. Hell, last year they bundled an HDTV LCD with the 360 for over $3000, so I wouldnt be surprised if we see that with the PS3.
