I am wanting to purchase some DS4 thumbstick covers online.
If you have some, please let us know which ones (name and website where purchased) you got and if they fit snug, what method they use to keep in place, how much and whether they feel nice, etc.

Best DS4 thumbstick covers...
I have the ORB covers.
(Not my pic)
I prefer the controller with the covers now. Feels a lot 'grippier' and I can aim more precisely too. No problems with the covers moving/slipping off neither. They fit really snug and I recommend them.
Just seen the price, the price has doubled since I bought mine. Guess a lot are worried about the DS4 rubber peeling and want to preserve it so demand for these has risen.
If you play FPS games, look no further than Kontrol Freeks (http://www.kontrolfreek.com/) they have several different styles for Close Quarters or Long Distance and they fit snugly around your sticks with plastic snaps (at least all the ones I've ever had are snaps and not rubber covers)
This is the brand that most pro cod players use if they use stick covers.
BTW, for Kontrol Freeks, you can use the code 'MIDNITE' (OpTic Gaming's OpTic MidNite Main Youtuber) to get 10% off your purchase.

I couldn't stand the analog sticks having so little leverage, especially when there aren't any games right now that would take advantage of the quick analog stick movements (Something like Gears of War would do). Bought FPS Freek snipers and the differences were immediately noticed, the analog stick was easier to move and aim with, sprinting became less painful especially on games like Warframe and COD where your always sprinting. My aiming did improve but only because the analog sticks were longer and took little effort to move, I was already good at aiming this only made it easier.
If your thinking about buying Kontrol Freeks, make completely sure you know which one you want, the FPS Freek Snipers might be too long for your hands and can cause stress (On top of that it has a convex design which makes it even a bit taller) . They have shorter concave ones called CQC which seem more appropriate for most people using the DS4.
Note: Might dent the rubber beneath it

will all this $#@! make you better than me at BF4? likely not
I never thought about buying thumbstick covers.
So, regarding thumbstick covers...
Mine have worn away significantly already, the right stick cover is OK i guess but the left one is quite buggered, almost hanging off now, that'll be all the BF4 play. Anyhows, I've just ordered some KontrolFreek Classic stick covers, gonna take 1-3 weeks to get here though. They are slightly elongated and supposed to add more refinement to your control of the control. Hopefully they last a little longer than the originals, i ordered them on the presumption this would be the case. I'll let you know what sort of quality they seem when they arrive. They do some pink ones too which i'm sure will look totally funky on a white DS4 when they bring that out to buy.
Anybody else use them or similar, rather than simple rubberised covers? What do you think?
I put xbone sticks in my ds4. They are a little taller and work well. They are a direct fit no modification necessary. I tried to upload a pic but that feature doesn't play nice with my ipad. Here is the link from where I got them.

Interesting you can do that, Xbone sticks on a DS4, good for you.
my thumbstick cover came off so i'm sending it back to be replaced, i couldn't care less for this stuff though. i kick ass regardless.
here you go. i rather like the looks. i contacted sony for a warranty replacement because the stock sticks had worn out and they would only replace the ds4 after i had sent mine in. i didnt want to go 2 weeks with out a controller or pay for a new one so this was my solution. glad i did it too i actually like the xbone sticks better and while i was in there i put in an 1800mah battery too.

get out. out. now!
I like the XB1s analog stick tops better. Like that the PS4 sticks are a bit stiffer tho.PCs are very much like Air Conditioners.
They both become utterly useless once you start to open up Windows....
I use KontrolFreek (Ultra). Takes a while to get used to, but after you do they are great, imo. I think it would feel really wierd to play without them now. But these are extenders, not just covers, they make your analog sticks about double the height. The thing I like the most with these is that you can be really fast (play with high sensitivity) and still be able to make smaller more precise movements than you could without them on (with lower sensitivity).
