PS4 bleeped without even being plugged in

This is just to weird. I think my PS4 just did the above. I give up even trying to work out why it does things like this but this is just beyond me. Anyone ever heard of this? And yes it had been properly powered down before I unplugged it. I give up.

Might due to electricity being stored by capacitors in the power supply.

If I switch off my PC and unplug it from the wall and press the power button the lights blink on and fans spin for a split second.

I unplugged mine once and my finger hit the power button after I unplugged it and it beeped. Like Keefy said, it probably still has a little power still stored in it right after unplugging.

Thats exactly the same thing my PS4 did!! Thankfully I don't have the auto eject problem (yet). That dude mentioned that it was the first time he had seen his system do this without being plugged in so hopefully the auto eject and unplugged bleeping arent connected. I never put my system into standby as I always move into my living to game from my spare room where it is stored.

I am hopeful that it is just a bit of power still stored in the system. I dont think my hand was near the power or eject button when I lifted it. My arm may have been near the power or eject button so I am wondering how senstive these buttons are if thats what the root cause is??

I heard one of the other forums that it bleeps when you change it from vertical to horizental or reverse.

Just juice in the capacitors. The Xbox 360 did this too.
