    PC requirements for Titanfall.

    http://m.joystiq.com/2014/02/04/tita...=rss_truncated

Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella has revealed the minimum specs for Titanfall on PC. As expected, you're going to need a decent rig to run the multiplayer mech shoot-em-up.

Minimum requirements for Titanfall on PC:
    OS: 64-bit Windows 7, 8, 8.1
Processor: AMD Athlon X2 2.8GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz
    Memory: 4GB RAM
Video card: 512MB VRAM, Radeon HD 4770 or GeForce 8800GT
In response to the question of a Mac port, Zampella said the studio is "talking about it" and that he'd "like to see it happen." Zampella offered a similar answer when the question of mod support arose last month. Titanfall launches on Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on March 11.

Really light system requirements. I expect a few graphical mods to change that.

even for minimum, that's a bit on the low side isn't it?

    core 2 duo @2.4GHz?

the only thing i would say actually fits the bill is the 4GB RAM.

Source engine scales well I guess. People still play TF2 and CS:Source on super old computers.

It seems like a low production game with bright ideas.

It's a game built on the source engine. Virtually anything can run games on Source. Interested to know recommended settings

Well, it looks like my (3 and a half year) old computer will have no problem running this game, so I might pick it up on PC.

a few things. it's built on a very old engine. they basically admitted they went X1 exclusive due to costs. then they said they're going 6v6, it's significantly more difficult to make bigger games with bigger player counts and there's no single player. everything about this so far screams low cost to me. the game wasn't meant to be huge. also, we know they're not a big team.

Because of this I really hope the price i lower than most (PC) titles. If it's going to be the same price as any other game I will definitely wait until the price goes down.

i think it's still worth the price because they are trying to make something new. it is definitely innovative and the game really does not have much of a competition in the market right now. COD is "similar", more of a spiritual brother but it doesn't have the acrobats and it doesn't have the mechs.

i don't know if it's as "fleshed out" as COD games but for sure it will deliver something new and interesting. and they will likely support the game well because it's their only baby and a ticket back into the game development.

naw lol. i can't determine value unless i played it. from the looks of it, it actually seems very high value for what it cost them. i think it's definitely up there with the best shooters and it will take off.

EA are involved. Expect it to be in line or more than current pricing. Also, Origin.

Yeah, it's gonna be about 30 online. it is that price where I buy my games from anyway. Haven't paid over 35 for a new release in years

That makes it more likely that I will get this later down the line, it I will get it at all. I really don't like Origin. On top of that, both Origin and Steam are quite expensive when it comes to new games here.

I am going to start to use those sites now. Unless of course its cheaper in the sales Steam or Origin has.

Origin isn't that bad, it just doesn't have all the functionality Steam does. But neither did steam in 2004, it really was quite awful back then.

This type of stuff was common

    10 years of steam.

They're really good. I tend to use them for new releases whenever possible. If you are lucky you can often find brand new games for 15. Best deal I ever had was buying MW3 for 15 on release day!

Long time service there, Keefy. I'm on a piddly 3 years
