With the PlayStation Vita Slim launching in the UK on Feb 7th, we'd like to know whether you'd consider buying it or not?

I've voted NO, based on the fact that the price is too high. Especially when I could just go out and buy an original Vita with a bundle of stuff for cheaper.

I voted yes. Reviews have pretty much all proved that this new thin model is superior in every single way except for the screen. And that is only noticeable if you compare the 2 models side by side.

After reading the article I would vote no. The only real improvement would be the speakers and the micro usb. The main tradeoff would be the screen.

I tend to care about functionality and not the wrapper it comes in. Also I dont think the original vita is to bulky to say its an inconvienence to carry, its not heavy eithrr.

So at the two pricepoints I would go with the original.

The fact that it is easier to remove physical games is all the reason I need to buy one.

If my PSP screen didn't go all weird I would of waited for the slim instead of getting my Vita, but I in general prefer the look of the original. Though I didn't know it had improved speakers, thought it was just thinner, lighter, cheaper looking, 1 GB of storage, etc. which is a non-issue for me.

I did think about it but I love the PDP trigger grip and don't use the vita without it so I won't be buying a slim. IMO the vita should have had a reshape to be more like the PDP case/dualshock. Not necessarily with the extra buttons, just so that it's more comfy to hold.

I wouldn't play it again without the grips. Can't believe what a difference they made and I got the 10 dollar ones from GS

I doubt it. I had the Vita and sold it after a week, I wasn't a fan of how it felt in my hands and I really didn't like the analog sticks at all. It felt awkward for me to play it. I think my time with handhelds has come and gone.

I agree with this. I can not use my Vita without those grips.

Currently no, I prefer my original. However if it were to break, I wouldn't mind picking one up. I'd most likely just try to get an original white one instead though.
