This seems like an interesting game. Thought it was worth sharing.Source:http://uk.ign.com/articles/2014/02/1...tarter-funding
A Kickstarter campaign has started for 7Framed, an indie episodic PC game aiming for AAA shooter production values. It has set a goal of $300,000 CAD by March 17.
The team is an extension of VIE Workshop, a Canadian video game motion-capture studio. The 7Framed project is the first step in starting a full-fledged game studio, proposed to be named VIE Games, with the Workshop side providing motion capture support.
The project page says that VIE has the infrastructure and technology necessary already, and so the funding will be used instead to hire more experienced developers.
The story focuses on an oppressive state that frames ordinary citizens for crimes, and through the course of the seven episodes you would play as seven different characters caught up in the web of deceit. The finished product hopes to include a single-player campaign and multiplayer focused on framing other players and a stealth mechanic.
"7Framed was something we always wanted to do," creative producer Dave Massicotte told IGN. "Create a first experience shooter where you are not playing the typical soldier's life. You are a normal guy that needs to do crazy thing to get his life back." He also pointed out that the team consists of veterans from Ubisoft and Eidos.
Regarding the team's modest $300,000 funding goal, Massicotte said, "we already have access to a grant of $400,000 because of some innovative technology that will be in the game. So the total of budget if comparable to other games."
The project page includes a handful of renders, a story trailer featuring its motion capture work (above), and a look at its mocap facilities.
Also, I sent a question on kickstarter asking if there was any chance of it appearing on PS4/Xbob One. Will update when I hear back.

Considering everyone is really interested in this I'll let you know the guy responded, saying if he were to get enough funding (don't know much that would need to be) it would most probably make it's way to PS4/Xbob.Don't Steal. Don't Molest Little Children. Don't Deal Drugs.
