Metal Gear Solid 5: Last gen vs Current gen

I only watched this video on my phone, but the differences did not seem all that great on the newer consoles. I will need to watch the video on a larger screen.

For some reason IGN titled this video "current gen vs next gen". I think it is safe to say that the PS4/XB1 is now the current gen.

that's because most of the differences are going to get lost in the youtube video. also the resolution won't be very clear. basically just about all the advantages will be mitigated due to it being a youtube video...or a video in general.

you're watching this on your monitor right? that's another issue. not true 1080p signal and small screen.

that's half the advantage the current gen consoles have.

I originally watched the video from my phone. I need to find a downloadable video in 1080p.

Itachi actually has this over in the in the current comparison thread for the game, down at the bottom of the OP. It's 1080p, 60fps link. I'm pretty sure I saw the youtube version somewhere in the thread at one point, too.

the best you can do is make sure it's actual 1080p with a high bit rate...because either of those things can ruin the fidelity. and then try to watch it on your TV. i'd probably just wait until the videos come out on the store

Itachi has a thread that already has all this info. I thought his thread was just about the PS4 vs XB1, but it does include both last and current gen.
