Call of Duty - Single Player? Multiplayer? or Both?

I am creating a poll, and I want to know if you guys play the single player campaign in Call of Duty games. Or do you prefer the online aspect only?

I personally play for the single player aspect. I have always enjoyed the campaigns in Call of Duty games. I just don't have time or the desire to play online and get screamed at by 12yr old kids lol.

I always play the single player to get a feel for some of the weapons, then I jump over to the online portion of the game.

I'm not a CoD guy really but with military FPS type games I play through the story first. It seems weird jumping right to MP right off the bat.

I enjoy Call of Duty's campaigns... usually. They're really cinematic and action driven with some really dramatic scenes. Modern Warfare was especially fun.

Don't care too much for multiplayer. When I used to buy into the series I'd play occasionally here and there. I'm not really big on competitive shooters unless it's Battlefield or Halo. It gets pretty repetitive and old quick.

I like the single player and usually stay away from multiplayer. But the story telling needs to improve. By the time I started playing MW3 I was confused and generally uninterested in the story.

Focus. Control. Conviction. Resolve. A true ace lacks none of these attributes. Nothing can deter you from the task at hand except your own fears. This is your sky.

I always do single player first, mainly as a warm up for the online so I can get used to the game and controls, then I don't die as much online

Thats me too. I dont bother much with competitive MP except sometimes in Killzone. Competitive online MP just gets repetitive really quick and therefore doesnt hold my interest for very long. UT series is one of the very few FPS that I actually enjoy online MP on and can play for long sessions.

if you don't care for COD online then you're wasting your money though i can't blame you because there's not many other games that have a decent SP campaign...in this category.

i remember the time when COD games actually had good SP. Before COD 3.

Haven't completed a SP campaign on any of them. Hell, a stage for that matter. And COD4 is the greatest of all time and I didn't touch that either.
