    TV saying "No Connection"

So I have an intermittent and worsening problem with the TV not recognizing the PS3 console being connected.

It's done this on 2 different TV's. It's like the console isn't putting out the signal to the tv.

Anybody experienced this, and what's the fix?

We watch a lot of movies on this console, streaming and Blu-Ray and I don't know what to do, hard to troubleshoot when you can't even get a display on screen.

    Thanks in advance.

Assuming when you tried different TV you also used a different HDMI cable?

That's a good question, I think so but I'll swap it out in the morning to make sure.

That would be awesome if it were something that simple. Thanks

Yes, had this problem about two weeks ago. Even tried the cable being used for the PS4 in the PS3 and it still didn't work. Sometimes it would boot up and you'd see the XMB but after about 5-10 mins it would just lose HDMI connectivity, other times I couldn't even get it to boot to the XMB (or at least see it).

As my PS3 was under warranty I just had it replaced.

I got this issue last week my PS3 was working fine Sunday 2 weeks ago and on Wednesday last week it wouldn't send a picture to my 46" Samsung LED TV and neither would my XBOX 360 I tried my PS3 on my 32" LG TV and it worked fine after contacting Samsung they arranged for a engineer to come out and the HDMI ports need to be replaced he said they are not holding the cable tightly enough.

But I thought my PS3 had died

That's where i'd start. I don't know what else it could be besides a bad HDMI cable.
