Yup. Much better than a stupid tacked on SP I have 0 interest in every starting.

Yeah, I don't remember that either. Or anyone complaining that MAG was online only. Funny how things change.

Funny, but I don't recall people complaining about BF being full price when it was online only.
Which one was online only again?

It all works well but it isn't mind-blowing. And with a full-price tag, minus an offline campaign, it's hard to see where the value for money lies here.

Pretty sure most of them had single-player modes though. Just not a campaign.

Yeah you're right. They had missions. I don't mind mission packs like how they are in Arma but it's scripted single player I don't like. I know the sound similar but they aren't, if that makes sense.

Meh, don't mind online only game. On two different accounts, I played more than 1500 hours of Socom confrontation (non respawn hours!) and that game was online only. It all depends on if people think it's worth it...and I bought the game for 60 bucks granted it came with the high quality bt headset

    really? did you miss this?
    First KZ2 and now MAG

and i've countlessly bashed Sony games...trust me i have proof...i made threads about them. but i have also made countless posts speaking against bad games.

EDIT: I see, you mean for being online only...yeah, i wouldn't care if it was actually good...but just cause it's good, i'm not shelling out $60, it needs to be worth that much in content. some people don't care about that, some people do...both are valid.

One could strongly argue that they get much more value for their $60 buy playing the hell out it for 12 months than you or I get from a 15-20 hour single player game.

It all comes down to preference and individual taste.

Preference / individual taste have nothing to do with price though. You pay $60 for COD but you get multiplayer and campaign.

I just read on N4G that Amazon has been removing all customer reviews that gave Titanfall a low score.

Not just low scores. They are removing scores all over the place, probably for the rather obvious reasons of unverified purchasers, and trolling.
I'm sure N4G will spin it otherwise.

After playing this more, I just don't see this as being a 'killer app' for the Xbox brand. It's an OK game, but it isn't anything to spooge over.

I'm disappointed, especially given I bought it + season pass and another copy for a friend on PC. I was sold on the hype, i'll try not to make that mistake again.

Could be a host of reasons, foul language etc.
not sure how anybody would spin the fact that they removed good and bad results (more good than bad one, but to each his own).

"Discussions on the forums seem to indicate a previous wipe of low scores." But now apparently its good and bad scores.

I hope metascore don't count much user review scores. 10s and 1s seem just silly. It is so unreliable.

Well....this is new. Don't remember Amazon parsing out the fanboys before. Certainly not after the PS4/X1 launches when there a ton of obvious bogus fanboy reviews.

They have definitely done this in the past with some major exclusive releases. What they do is remove those reviews where it's not a 'confirmed purchase' - this isn't the first time they've done this.
