Any particular reason sony gives for not supporting mp3 or audio cd's from the onset on ps4? PS3 had it.

Id like to have easy access to the media files I create from games. I hate going in the settings to "preview" them. What's the $#@!ing point in taking screenies and videos if I can't look at them localy without jumping through hoops?!?

It would be far better for Sony to just allow updates to Youtube.

I don't get it, who is opposed to this? Youtube? Prob not.. more ad revenue.

Sony? Prob not also. I feel like it may be Sony not working something out yet. And it would be cool if your user page had your recent upload videos playing like gifs.

Sony has alot of work to do on their UI...

I'm just glad they now have a decent amount of RAM set aside to do so.

In the share folder go to the media file you want to preview and instead of pressing X to upload, press Options and there is Preview listed in that options menu.

Although I agree the whole thing needs refining but at least that way you can view your media without going into the settings.

it wasn't sony that didn't want it, it's youtube. the reason i think is because youtube doesn't want a bunch of junk videos on there. people that put game videos on youtube, generally put a lot of effort in it because it's not being done by the casual. if you make it extremely easy (without a capture card or setup of some sort) then you're going to get a bunch of random videos without even names for these videos...

it will bring youtube's value down than up.

I dont think thats the reason Sufi. Sony is responsible for not having the feature right now. They have to implement it in to their firmware. Not youtube.

Yeah.... YouTube don't want it, that's why support for it is being added to Xbone to do it: http://www.vg247.com/2014/04/07/xbox...get-gopro-app/

I do not think that is true. There are tons of crap videos as is on youtube. Youtube isn't exactly the hall of quality footages.

This is irrelevant to its value, but they are missing out on great ad revenue which is why I think youtube is one holding us back here.

Yup. That is tiny blow to Sony, but I think Sony will eventually have it too. I just hope they are faster with adding features.

I think it has to do with the way they now extremely censor videos if they think something copyrighted is on it. Google went full on Fascist with it.

Well, I guess it just feels like I've been waiting for ages. When you're waiting for something good, you want it right away, preferably yesterday.

oh i know, i'm just saying that this would've opened flood gates to more crap. but why do you think they want to miss out on ad revenue?
