I'm pretty sure considering the polish, functionality, and budget of this game that it's a AAA title.

If it wasn't a triple A exclusive before, it sure the hell is after this release.

Because it doesn't innovate or move the series or genre forward in any direction. Yes it looks nice, and it's a good solid play. But it brings nothing new, not even to its own series.

    That's why.

How were they not? They were awesome, but hardly anyone knew about them. They didn't have the same publicity as GTA or even Saints row..

By that logic COD isnt a AAA anymore yet the best selling game. Being a AAA is all about production value and cost.

They're not AAA either. Don't think I said they were either. Think you pulled that one out of your arse.

perhaps, at least in UK it is, according to the news today.

I am waiting to see the numbers for the US sales for March, should be interesting comparing with Titanfall and Xbox one sales figures.

I'd give it an 8. Not quite done it yet.
Game is visually very pretty. Animations and sounds are great. Combat is alright.
But the side missions are repetitive and dull after the first few times. No near as many story missions as the previous titles either.

    It's a 9 for me.

I'm about halfway through the game on my good play through. Just got the third power not long ago. Going to finish that up and then do it again as evil on hard. Infamous: Second Son should be my first platinum on the PS4.

I'm really enjoying it overall. It's more of the same from the past games but i play Call of Duty so that's not saying much haha. The graphics and characters of Infamous: SS are what's really drawing me in. I could stare at the city for hours on end. It's just a preview of what's coming this gen.

I don't think it's more of the same at all, it is an infamous game and should retain that identity.

Having said that all the powers are different, new mini games, and the biggest difference is new characters. The way it's set up now anyone can be a conduit so they can use delsin next or someone else. It's by far the best infamous game IMO.

    I give it a solid 9.

solid 9. has a couple issues here and there. nothing game breaking, just irritating. mainly some of the enemy types are a bit over powered. prime example. Just now i was fighting against 20 or so DUP agents and their helecopters, took a few hits here and there, wiped them all out completely no problem. 5 minutes later, i got killed by 4 drug dealers with pistols. wtf.

I just finished my first play through. I give it a 9. Only issues with it are lack of diversity in missions, which results in a lack of use for the huge BEAUTIFUL city they created. Also, lack of end game content. Will be starting my Extreme difficulty Evil play through later. Though after that I'll end up selling it or trading in.

Going to pay more attention to audio and replayability in my next run through, but as it stand, 8.2/9 is quite satisfactory for a near launch game IMO.

I'd give it an 8 for fun gameplay and great graphics, likable characters, and really cool powers.

The parkour is a bit loose and isn't as fluid or precise as say Assassin's Creed. It could definitely be improved upon. I found myself hating to climb structures.

A great and fun game but could certainly still use improvement in future installments.

I think its the best of the series. Really liked the first one, got the second one when it went free with plus but couldn't get into it.
I really liked the incorporation of the touch pad and speaker (I thought it was cool how the cell phone would ring on the controller). Not to mention that graphically its the prettiest thing I've seen released yet. It was a bit buggy for me, had to restart one mission due to getting stuck in a wall. Overall I would give it a 9.

After finishing it I give it a very solid 9. In a lot of ways it's the best in the series.

I think I preferred power progression in the earlier games, where you can increase blast radius, etc.
