XBox One Titanfall Bundle discounted to $450 at major retailers

    http://www.engadget.com/2014/03/21/x...dle-price-cut/

That's more than $100 off the price of the console and game. Awesome deal!

yeah, excellent deal. Guessing it wasn't moving as much as MS wanted. wonder if they are going to refund all those folks who bought the bundle the last two weeks at full price.

Amazon too now. I don't know how these things work. Is MS doing this or the retailers?

MS, I assume since it is across multiple retailers. Probably giving credit to the retailers so they can reduce the price.

edit: MS isn't allowing the retailers to advertise this apparently. Kinda weird. This is from best buy as to why they can't show the discounted price until checkout....

As a retailer, we set our own prices independently, but some manufacturers restrict how we may communicate those prices. In some cases the manufacturer does not allow us to show you our price until you take further action

I thought you were all about who makes more money from selling it?

I guess now it is about who can take more losses?

Im all about my money and my xbox-one. If someone gets its cheaper than what i paid, good for them. I'm not worried about Microsoft's money. They obviously can afford to take a hit if they need to.

Those numbers must not have been looking too good. Price cut this fast, such a middle finger to the early hardcore crowd. Oh well.

Still expecting at least 400k sold this month in the states.

Not a price cut. Temp. sales promotion/discount.

Also if this was a price cut, MS would just be taking a page out of a common playbook, used by others. (like apple for example)

Also, it's better to offer discounts, rather than raising the price. Pretty big middle finger to future customers.

Having to raise the price speaks volumes. It's not pretty.

Huh? Speaks volumes that the Damn thing is still outstripping demand so people can get away with raising prices rather than price cutting. Lol don't see how "it's not pretty"

Its not pretty if you live in places like Canada. Consoles are already expensive enough already.

But it says something when the console is still selling out while the price is being raised? Shouldn't the demand drop off because of the price going up? Believe ms rather have the problems Sony are having now lol
