    MY PS4 acting strange!

Last night I was playing Infamous and after I stopped playing Infamous. I have sent a message to my friend and my PS4 frozen and than no picture appeapred on my TV. I looked at my PS4 I saw the blue light flashing and I had to press the power button to rest my PS4 after I heard the beep. After 15 minutes I turned on my PS4 and I saw the yellow bar which is saying restoring the data. Did this happen to anyone before? It worried me a little bit to say the truth.

And now my PS4 it turned off by its self and I had to unplug the ac power cable and plug it again. I think there is a problem with my PS4.

Mine was a little weird yesterday as well. Froze while trying to send an invite on COD, then connection was spotty and XMB menu was laggy. Fortunately closing all apps and doing a full shut down and restart helped. Maybe unplug it and leave it so all residual power is gone and everything clears.

That sucks OP I feel for ya. Just out of curiosity is it just going off instantly or is it shutting down in steps?

Did you check the cord where it plugs in to make sure it's firm?

My PS4 has trouble turning off properly more often than I'd like. And sometimes while on stand by turns itself off, and when I turn it on, it moans at me about not turning it off properly!

That's why I was a okay with tacking on the two year all covered plan. Though I'd be crushed if I had to send my baby away!

Could this be from the new firmware that was recently released?

Hmm, didn't think of that. While mine only acted up temporarily, it never did it before the update.

Got my PS4 replaced when it started turning itself off. SONY claimed it was a power supply issue, so I called amazon and they over nighted me a new one. So far so good.

I hope it's not the firmware that is screwing up systems, that's the last thing we need.

From the things I've read that seems to be the problem a lot of the time when they start turning off. He's probably getting a new one.

OP hope you can get one from the retailer instead of the dreaded box that comes through the mail.

Firmware updates do tend to mess with peoples systems/games sometimes but i didnt have a issue. I have had a game freeze on me a few times and i just held the power button for 5-10 seconds so it can boot in safe mode.

Oh my God! So many problems even with you guys. Now, it seems ok but I'm still worried that the problem might occur again.

The screen problem has been solved as I had to rest the PS4 and after adjust the resolution again.
