It just masks it or delays it. The weather for me is what takes it away when it is interesting but if its boring, I'm depressed. A week long cloudy/overcast period with lots of rain or whatever is terrible for my mood, I can really feel it majorly when there are long steaks of bad weather. This winter was very rough but insane at the same time. It can even go as far as effect my thinking and thought-process which is when its really bad. Exercise, human contact, and putting yourself in fun and unique situations really helps.
