    Dead space for free

Deadspace the video game from a couple years ago EA are giving away for free, the catch is you need an Origin/EA account (if you ever played one of the Battlefield games you can use that I think)

Shame it's an awful PC port and it doesn't like modern hardware they could of also made DS2 free instead because every one will have this game some way or the other either with the Bumper Pack they did that was DS1 and 2 with 2 DLC combined which was on STEAM or when it was on a few weeks back at 2.49.

I have it on STEAM and Origin because I bought the EA Humble Bundle last year

I have it on Steam because someone gifted it me because they bought a humble bundle deal.
I have about a dozen games on Origin and only paid for half of them

Yeah, the PC port is $#@!. Having v-sync on rapes the performance at random times, but you have to have it on at a certain point in the game to progress, else a door/event won't happen. It was painful to play, which is a shame because I love DS1.

Seriously vsync has to be on? Wow that sucks because I hate vsync.
And devs wonder why PC gamers whine and moan about console ports.

    Yup.

It was terrible because it was the part of the game where the regenerating necromoprh is in the room with you. So the framerate was stuttering and derping all over the place. I was playing on the hardest difficult while the game was effectively unplayable. It was awful. Just awful. Took nearly an hour to beat it.

You can force V-sync via your driver software for your GPU and it works a bit better but if you don't have it one where there is flashing lights you get serious screen tearing and I can confirm that certain door won't open without some form of it on, and to think when it was released they wanted 20 for it

PC is going to benefit a lot from these consoles being closely compatible. with DX12, hopefully it gets better, otherwise we still have hope in Steam OS.
