If you had to pick a celebrity as a mentor, who would you pick?

If you HAD to pick a celebrity to be your mentor and someone you look up to, who would you pick? It can be any celebrity, it can be a music artist, celebrity, or sports players.

I choose someone who passed away more than ten years ago:
    Aaliyah.

It would be Zach Braff for me.

I adore the guy. I'd love to write something a long the lines of Garden State. But I also love how he is in films like Garden State, The Last Kiss and other serious films about love and also be just as excellent at slapstick stuff in scrubs - which also handles the emotional stuff really well. And he just seems like a cool person in general.

Also, I'm a movie producer... (kind of )

My mentor would be Walter Payton. The guy was a class act, hard worker, and put everyone else first. He was what every athlete wishes they could be.

I know, right? Bruce Lee is one of my favorite actors of all time and he was one of the few I was interested in learning about.

Yup, he died way too young.

There's one of his quotes that states we should be like water and adapt. It's very inspirational.

My favorite movie quote is from an older movie, he said, "This time you be eating paper, next time you be eating grass! EAT!"

I like Bruce Lee and he is a good mentor.

    Robert Downey Jr.

Not only is he one of my favourite actors of all time, but this guy is a shining example of hitting rock bottom in drugs and alcoholism, recovering and making an epic comeback, while staying clean. This guy practically is Tony Stark in real life. It's hard to differentiate after those movies, he's just the living embodiment of that character as Hugh Jackman is for Wolverine and Cristian Bale is for Bruce Wayne/Batman.

And he's a fantastic actor with charisma and intelligence and just a decent human being in general.

Truth! The inspiring roles you see these people play are them acting, you don't know this person for who they truly are.

Is there verifiable proof of an alleged affair? Being over at someone else's place doesn't mean he cheated.

Sun Tzu, the legendary general whose military strategies comprise The Art of War.

Sun Tzu's philosophies are about achieving your goal with the least amount of effort and loss and about using the indirect method to get there. The basic underlying principles have shaped my mentality and the way I see the world and I would love to have him as a mentor so I could get an even deeper understanding and appreciation of his work.

The Art of War is typically taught in most military academies and business school and can be applied to just about all areas of your life. My favorite quote from him was in my sig for quite some time--y'all may recall:

I really love this quote and is the main concept I take above all the others.
