Ben Heck Xbox One Teardown [Confirms Arm Processor Chip Inside X1]

"We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that (developers) want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so then the question is, what do you do for the rest of the nine-and-a-half years?"

Surly the cover's grill over the large fan grill would restrict air flow even more so but then again the heat sink is far larger this time round and has copper heat pipes, and isn't the X1 blu ray only so it would be smaller than the Optical drive of a 360.

    Win 7 Ult 64bit, Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Rev.1/Bios F8 , INTEL i7 2600k 3.40ghz, Crucial Ballistix Elite 8GB DDR3 1866mhz (1600mhz@1.60v), Crucial 128GB M4 SSD, Seagate 500GB 7,200rpm HDD, HIS 7850 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E Card, OCZ Fatality 750 Mod PSU, LG DVD-RAM RW

Hehe the optical drive is just using a more custom setup. Blu-ray/DVD/CD function doesn't really affect the size. But yeah much better designed heat sink. Actual airflow in the case for the fan to feed from is a bonus to.

Is it just me or is there enough room to put the power supply inside the X1? That would be a lot better than the huge power brick imho.

If they had one custom made instead of searching the parts bin.
