There has been rumours for years that they were buried, I guess someone spilled the beans where.

I remember years ago in college, I joined a retro-gaming club because they advertised N64 nights, as part of the group package. The first night we all met up, we played a bit of N64 and then we played this game....

Maths is biased! It keeps telling me the PS4 is 50% more powerful than XboxOne!

My question is...do they still work? Surprised they didn't shove Pac-man for the 2600 in that pile too, that game was horrendous!

I wonder how many Titanfall bundles will be buried there by retailers dumping all their excess stock? lol

To me this is boring junk and the number of games they found was rather small, I bet gamestop over the years threw out more junk than that.
What I don't get is why Major Nelson had to be there, I don't think of him as a TV or even likeable gaming personality.

Believe it not the Xbox One has some serious problems, it simply isn't good enough to be a media box (Behind a pay wall too)
Heck, I own a $70 Android media box that can emulate better games than the One right now.

So it was buried along with Asteroids and Defender? I didn't expect that.

Defender was badass. I logged many hours into that game. Now we got resogun.

What's funny about all this is that THAT game was the final straw that nearly broke the back of the gaming industry in 1983. This should serve as a constant reminder to publishers, developers and gamers the world over that if you make enough stupid decisions on what games are made and bought, you will get ever increasingly ****tier games and eventually, the market WILL correct those mistakes in the most unforgiving manner.
