    DF: The Amazing Spider-Man 2

    http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/di...mance-analysis

    Hey look......a movie tie-in game!

In truth, based on first impressions derived from an hour with both versions, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an enormous missed opportunity on a broader level. What we're looking at is a distinctly last-gen effort, spruced up with 1080p imagery and some higher-precision post-processing effects, but little else. Detail in the cityscape is passable but lacking at close range, while - Spider-Man's model apart - overall geometry levels are often bafflingly low. Loading times between missions are very intrusive on both platforms, more so on Xbox One.
    Shocker.

Sum up. Both versions suck. PS4 version sucks less.

[ was interested in the game until I seen someone playing on twitch.

    Even the physics look bad.

Yep, that sums it up. Not surpised that it sucks though. I saw some gameplay last night and it looked pretty crappy.

The game is crap. Glitches all over the place, and flat out boring.

I always get excited for a Spider-Man game...then I see it in action. The city always looks dull and slow. There is little pedestrian traffic, variation of car models, or attention to detail overall. There is so much more they can do with the Spider-Man franchise with the PS4 and pc, and yet this is what they produce. Very sad. I guess I have been spoiled by Infamous Second Son. Now that is a super hero game.

I don't really need a water cooler/remote control as of right now.

I think you need to make allowances for one being multi-plat cross-gen against another developed for a specific system in any comparison you try to make.

but still, the game just looks horrid. it looks like a port job. and the last good spider man i played was on the PS2.

there is plenty of power in these consoles to make a great-looking multiplat game.
