PS2 emulator - anyone know a good one?

As the title suggests, anyone know of a decent PS2 emulator?

Emulation is not illegal just so you know.

Anyway PCSX2 is what I use myself. So far with my rig I am able to run almost every game I own flawlessly without any frame rate drops below 40FPS. There are some that have frame rate issues though but most seem fine.

PCSX2 is pretty sweet, it even makes your games full on 1080p if you wish.

You can use your original disks with it too, but it's best to make an ISO and run from your hard drive.

While my rig can emulate well, I'm more of a original hardware guy.

PCSX2 works great! If you have a powerful PC you can crank up the graphics and it will look really good on a modern display. Try playing your original PS2 on a modern 50" 1080p TV. It won't look good.

The only issue is that it won't run perfect. And it can get really annoying when you run into minor bugs that interrupt the gameplay.

I was gonna search the forums for any emulator threads regarding ps1, because i'm curious to know if anyone have tried the ps1 emulator for puppy arcade linux.

But it seems like the search term "emulator" is filtered/censored?
I get no hits for searches in the forum on the search term "emulator".
