Bottom line, this game will most likely be the best looking game released on consoles next year. I can't wait.

But if a camera zooms in to a persons face on TV you can see pores. So in U4, if you zoom in to Drakes face in-game for a close up, You will see the same graphical fidelity shown in the U4 trailer because that is in-game in-engine, and part of an actual level as Corrinne has clarified on twitter.

It's a very simple concept. There is no confusion. You should wait for direct feed, uncompressed gameplay footage before you make your statements.
i'm contradicting myself while you're exaggerating. sure ok. you're making this complicated. all i'm saying is that what we saw in the trailer, the details we saw, are likely going to be blurred out in gameplay. is that confusing?

Yes but only at a distance right?
If you were to turn the character around and zoom in (as you can in ND games) then you will see all the details. But when playing less focus will be on those details you cannot see.

So when you zoom out it should look like this -

And when you zoom in you should get the extra detail like this -

and how is that different from before?

EDIT: Note, i'm still talking about the character details, not the environmental details. those i believe will look the same in gameplay.

I'm assuming that's what Corinne Yu is trying to tell us. Same with the insider info we got.

I believe we will see this amount of detail even during gameplay, if I interpreted everything right.

If Ready at Dawn can do it at 30 fps, then I definitely believe ND can do it at 60 fps.
