    http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/2...ng-difference/

Can't see the link from work, but the comments on reddit suggests a massive improvement.

Sure it looks way better than it does on PS3 but no way I'm paying $60 again for a game that came out last year and I paid full price for, same goes for TLOU. Those are the kind of games that should be worthy of being in the if you own it on PS3 $10 upgrade program.

It's not for you. It's for those that held out hoping it would get ported to next gen

Yeah, it's a pretty big difference. I can't wait to see the next red dead. I'm going to lose my mind for a brief moment.

$#@!, that is a pretty big difference. maybe they should've shown a trailer where they images transition from PS3 to PS4. so we'd get the comparison.

alright, probably will get this for sure now. all i need to know now is that online is "at least" 64 players. nothing less but more would be cherry.

I'm just waiting on the comparison images for The Last of Us...cause I really couldn't tell much difference from the trailer alone on that one.
    Trophy-licious!

I might have more fun with this game if it doesn't go to 10fps and have jaggies out the ass.

Maybe I'll pick it up again and play it on PS4.

OH $#@!! That is much bigger difference than I expected. Oh man now I have to get this along with TLOU remaster
I wonder when a nuclear warhead goes off, does the frame rate of real life drop?

For a graphic upgrade, i don't think paying full price would be justified, if you have already played them. If they offer some gameplay upgrades and new content to go along with it, then it might justify paying full price again. but for those who never played the games, the remasters are definitely worth the asking price.

It's a solid advancement. They could've easily double-dipped with just a resolution, framerate, and AA bump. But instead they're upgrading the whole package. It feels like this is what the game should've been from the start. I can't wait to play it.

pretty sure they had this planned out. they know how popular the game is...i mean, come on..33m+ probably 35m now? i bet this will continue to sell another 10m or so.

i think their idea of doing a cross-gen is the best. it has the best of both worlds. previous gen people get all the attention first, because there are more of them.

you design the game with next-gen in mind but then try your best to fit on the last-gen consoles. which is exactly what GTA 5 felt like. like it was doing too many things...i wish it ran smoother even if they had to remove some stuff.

and now since it's somewhere halfway between last-gen and current-gen, you just push it a little more and viola. best of both worlds...almost.

Oh WOW! Normally I'm against re-purchasing a game that I've already played. But TLOU and GTA 5 are two titles that are shaping up and earning my money....again.

They planned on making this game for the PC, PS4 and X1 since day 1.

Don't let anyone tell you differently.

I wouldn't think that they had the Ps4/X1 in mind considering this game started development in 2009, there is also that factor of they HAD to get it running on the previous generation of machines and not produce some half stitched together over optimistic junk.

Porting this to Ps4/X1 however is a brilliant move on R*'s behalf. Big piece of advice to studios is to rebuild the last big project from the previous generation on the new platforms. This way they can to an excellent feeling of what has changed, what needs to change and what still works from the previous generation. Releasing it for additional profits is only a bonus .

Which to get PC or PS4 :/

BOTH! Once on Ps4 to get all the HD goodies easily on your TV, then on the PC in 6-12 months on a Steam sale for $9. Then enjoy swapping weapon variables around in the config files for maximum fun.

PC is always the best place for GTA games due to mods. I can't wait to see what can be done with this gorgeous engine considering the pos GTAIV can look so good with ICE/ENB mods

Actual comparisons do show big differences. I don't see how this was meant to be next-gen though, this has been in development for a long time.

I'll be getting it on PC!

Yes that sounds like a rather good idea. Unleash pain on anyone who doesn't comply.

This and Altis life should give me a fun online experience for a while.
