I'm all over this! I would have bought it simply if it had remote play only. That feature is awesome.

I read Guerrilla Cambridge are working on a patch for Killzone Mercenary to remove touch controls for PS TV. Looking forward to seeing that on the big screen

So about the competition. I see comparisons to Kindle Fire TV. It plays games, but aren't those games just ports from the smartphone versions? I assume all the PSP and PSOne games on PSN will work fine with a DS controller. Those alone would seem to offer a superior gaming experience than a phone game blown up on a TV.

    Bummer.

Maybe the Vita will drop in price enough, and build up a big enough catalog of games eventually, for me to justify buying it. I'm just not into portable gaming devices much. I'd need it to drop to around $100, which is many years away, maybe never. Ah well, I have my PS4.

Kindle Fire Tv is a cool device but I think they are two different devices that are achieving much different scales. This is essentially a Vita without the screen and Kindle Fire TV is an android device without the screen.

Whoever buys this should put it on a smaller TV and not a 70 inch.

If your going to ever use it to play vita or ps1 games.
