America does do everything the wrong way.

    Wong side of road
    spells things wrong
    wrong date format
    calls a liquid "gas"
Football is wrong they use everything but feet.

Well yeah, but no one says that. We just say it as July 31st.

I don't care what system anyone uses. I'm just pointing out that one isn't magically correct just because you prefer it. Any system can make sense purely on whatever criteria you assign it.

Keep in mind the British used mm/dd/yyyy for several centuries and spread it around the globe as the standard. However Britain then moved over, for whatever reason, to the little-endian date format after America had already left British control, but all the colonies and influence Britain had over other countries followed suit in time. Often the things you Brits complain about America for are stuff you caused. Same with spelling, accents, and even the metric system.

Negative, if you're on a road with tree lanes and you don't know where you're going - i.e Some back road to nowheresville - and you're passenger has stated they will guide you. If they say (when there are two cars between you and the lane you should be in) to turn off, there is nothing you as a driver can do but miss the turning regardless of how good a driver you are. Magic doesn't come easy.

If the passenger has said in due time where you are going, then yeah, drivers fault. But giving the driver no time to position the car.....its all the passengers fault

We're a confused nation it annoys me that we use metric system for most measurements but then we still use miles.

We are supposed to use metric int his country and we partly do

    Celsius in the weather forecasts
everything bought in shops is by the gram kilo litre or millilitre
building plans are in metres and millimetres
yet we buy beer by the pint and measure distances in miles and speed of vehicles in miles per hour and efficiency in Miles per gallon, yet we buy petrol by the litre.

    It makes no friggin sense.

Speaking of date formats I hate it when forums dont offer the option to change it to your localisation which confuses the crap out of people.

    This one gets me:

    EDT, EAST, IDT, NZDT....Piss off!

GMT! there! everyone around the world is now on the same time! >_<

it so freaking easy to adjust times when you know the offset. they're +4 and you're +6...you're 2 hours ahead. fudging simple!

    EDIT:
Australia even make up their time zones! the hell is this, man!?

Ya'll seem to have some of your own problems as well. . If I started walking around calling gas, petrol I'd be given funny looks.

I don't think people would take kindly to me driving on the left side of the road. Even if I rolled down my window and shouted 'But this is the correct side!'

Those people who modify their own cars that shouldn't. I don't care what paint job you have, how big the spoiler is or what tires and rims to put on that's not a sport/racing car. It's a Prius. Please stop. You're NOT cool.

People who modify their trucks with obnoxiously large suspension and tires. Why are you driving a monster truck on the road? Oh because you're a big tough manly man right?

always called it beta. it's funny because some words i like the british pronounciation, some i like the american but overall i like the american pronounciations (but only the ones that are without accent or relatively no accent i should say). my accent is definitely not "full" american. i used to feel bad about pronouncing the T in clinton but not anymore. i just say clinton and not clin'un.

When you contact support and the reply you get doesn't even help you out at all. Same thing for when you contact them, explain the situation and say what you tried to fix it so far, but they reply with $#@! that you already tried. Had this countless times and it's just horribly ridiculous.. Why'd you even have a support if that's your way of 'helping'....

umm you should be glad you could even do that on a whim, here in the states, "most" places (unless you live in a big city), you would've been stranded pretty much.

LOL That's usually what people do is separate paragraphs when they switch what is being talked about. Made that post July 31st. Took you long enough to figure that out

    3.10 for one hours parking?
Also who the heck carries 10Ps these days?

Thsoe parking meters that ask for your registration and especially the ones that hve the keybord laid out in stupid configurations.

    And acceptable config would be

QWERTYUIOP - left to right just like your keyboard

ABCDEFGHI - Left to right because that makes perfect sense

This is how some car parks near where I live do it.
