    So how's people's Faction Journey's working out? I'm at week 9 already with the Hunters, had some major setback's though, Firefly attacks decimate your clan size if you have a bad game... oh dear. Hanging in there though!

    I'd hoped people would use their mics more.. Atleast in a private party.. Does party chat automatically mutes you from ingame chat right?

    yeah sorry K2D i was pretty baked and not feeling like chatting, game was good though. Teamwork is the key! I forget often though and charge out then get shot, happened several times last night.

    Nice! Can you share that on Psn/YouTube? Do we know mrwhiskers? Or misswhiskers ? Don't worry about it. No voicechat is better than forced voice chat. Edit: I don't know.. I'm just glad I can mute people.

    Don't think we know MrWhiskers, he just had a good game on my part

    Looked briefly last night for that capture but couldn't find it. Will have another butchers tonight, been swapping them around with multiple USB sticks, sure it's there somewhere. If i find it i'll let you know.

    Finally I got my copy of TLOU. Jumped right into MP and...

    ..got really dissapointed.


    I am already afraid to start the story if the controls and all the dynamics, graphics is as seen in multiplayer.


    What is so special about MP? Anybody played it?

    Nothing necessarily special about it, it's just different to a lot of multiplayer games. Pace is a lot more relaxed compared to BF or COD for example.

    Sorry but the gameplay mechanics are exactly the same. You should try the single-player game though it's pretty awesome.

    TLoU is really primarily a single player game but just like a lot of other games these days devs like to put some multiplayer thing in there.

    Personally i think the multipalyer is actually rather good but horses for courses i guess.

    May I ask what's wrong with the dynamics, graphics & controls? Just wondering.

    I love the MP because it's not your average run and gun game. You're not supposed to run out and be like 'PEW PEW!'
    You're supposed to play calm and relaxed, actually thinking about what you're doing and preferably teamwork. That's why I love it.

    So the controls and dynamics are a little different than what your used to.. How about playing the singleplayer so you'll have a an easier chance to adapt? I didn't have your problem, but then again I already played the sp on ps3.

    It's too hard to kill ppl in that multiplayer.

    For a game thats based on realism....it takes like 4 shots from a gun to kill someone....with no armor.

    All I know is that I upgraded my melee weapon with some scissors and then attacked someone...they didn't die. A sharp scissor object to the throat from a swing of a 2x4 didn't kill him...I was like "wtf?"

    Then if someone executes you and they go into the animation, but a team member shoots them or something....and the person falls off or whatever...you still go through the animation and theres a ghost sitting there doing the execute animation.

    Actually that depends... Its not always 4 shots before someone dies. The game's story's based on a realistic scenario, but if a game would be truly realistic we'd die, lose our character and start all over again with each character... Or even no character anymore, to keep realism, you only live once as well, so why not the same for game characters?

    The way you kill someone 's really nice but can be a little annoying sometimes, but if you aim correct/hit them correct, they can go down in less than 4 shots

    Thats fine....actually after I wrote that I wanted to delete it b/c it sounds very nit-picky. I mean...lots of games multiplayer don't have you die after one shot.

    But the whole "smack a guy with a 2x4 with a pair of scissors on the end in the throat...and him not dying" is unacceptable.

    As is the bug or whatever of someone starting to "Execute" you...only to have them shot or taken out while doing so....and have an invisible ghost continue and finish the execute.
