    Who owns two ps4 consoles

I threw out a post in the Q&A section and thought I had this figured out but I don't.

If any of you have two ps4 systems, how do you get dlc accessible to all users? I have ps plus, my son has a ps plus. I made his console my primary and my console his. But while trying to play call of duty, I didn't have access to his season pass maps on his ps4 (not his primary). But if I log him in and play on my account, I get access but lose all my customization DLC.

Does anyone with two systems have this figured out?

Hey man! Sorry to see that it didn't work out! Even with a video on YouTube saying otherwise. I had a different problem that resolved itself after a day or two. Maybe you're lucky!

Yeah man, seemed like it made sense but not working as I thought it would. There has to be a way to make it easy for people with two systems.

Interested in a solution to this as considering a second ps4 for the same reasons.

I think it has something to do with no game sharing on the PS4.

It's a little bit of a pain if you have two people that play on the systems. Right now it's me and my son, but here are some things to consider.

Right now his ps4 is my primary and my ps4 is his primary as mentioned earlier. I did find out that if I play COD on my ps4, if I log in and start the game first, then log him in, switch back to me and got to find a game, I get all of my dlc along with his season pass maps. I could then log him out and retain all of the dlc for that gaming session. I've been busy so I haven't tried to see how other games are affected, but COD seems to be picky.

I'll get back to you with how other games work later since I'm on vacation this week, but as far as dlc tied to my account, I've downloaded it to both systems and have no issues using it on either system, primary or not. It's just that weird hiccup with COD season pass being tied to my son's PSN account.

This is the very reason I do not own more than one PS4 right now. I had two PS3 consoles because I could activate my account on 2 separate consoles.

Even Sony changes this to match the PS3, then I will gladly purchase another PS4 console. And I want to be able to play everything on both consoles without jumping through hoops.

Yeah, same here, I have two ps3 as well, never had issues. I'll be interested to see how other games work or if it's just COD that's difficult.

    Sony needs to address this.

If I have added my account to another system, they should be allowed to access the content I have purchased. It's retarded that it doesn't do that currently.

If they need to make it a requirement to have credit info attached in order to allow it so be it, that way they'll at least know people are not sharing with random strangers.

If anything, set it up like PS3 or what Apple does.

Seems that I can access other dlc that belongs to my son on my ps4 and only COD is an issue. In further testing, I found that if you want to play online and don't have a ps+ of your own and there is no ps+ user marked as primary for that machine, it won't work. A ps+ user must be primary, not good enough to just be a registered user.
