Bo Dallas, Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville confirmed!! Wooooo lets hope there's more revealed from NXT.

[Update] Bo Dallas, Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville have been confirmed.
It seems WWE 2K15′s official twitter account may have inadvertently (Or not) revealed another inclusion to the upcoming wrestling title’s roster. Anyone who has been following knows the official roster was partially revealed just last month, with 2K Games promising a full reveal in the future. Many noticed that a lot of the show’s current roster of superstars were excluded including former NXT Champ Bo Dallas. Well good news Bo fans, it looks like he may have made the cut.

I'm really happy that Bo Dallas is in the game. The whole character makes me laugh.

Glad that they've actually put some NXT people in too. Would be nice to have more, as well as Paige.
I'd imagine that Paige will also be confirmed as she was part of the "comment takeover" thing they did the other night.

    Hands-On: WWE 2K15 – MyCareer Mode

    Best for business

Back in August, when I got to go hands-on for the first time with WWE 2K15, 2K revealed that the series would fall more in line with NBA 2K and feature a career mode for the first time. This past week, I was able to go hands-on with MyCareer mode for WWE 2K15 for about 45 minutes and take a look at life in the squared circle at three separate stages.

First, however, I must say that I was a bit disappointed I wasn’t allowed to play at all with the customization features for which the series is known. Of course, you’ll be able to do this in the final game, but “my” wrestler was pre-made. Although the couple of created characters we played with gave a nice overview of different hair colors, body types, and luchador masks, it wasn’t really the same as actually being able to dig through the creative options.

Beyond this, though, WWE 2K15’s MyCareer mode impressed me in a lot of ways. I began my journey as a wet-behind-the-ears rookie with a 55 overall rating. Without any pomp and circumstance, I was thrown into one of the seven rings available at a digital re-creation of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, the company’s new home for training up-and-coming superstars.

And who was there, immediately barking orders and telling me how awful I was? WWE head trainer Bill DeMott. Now, Mr. DeMott is a very nice person, and I was fortunate enough to actually meet him at the Performance Center last week. But when you’re one of his students and you step into one of his rings, things change, and my created wrestler had Bill’s ire fall upon his head several times—and it was awesome.

As I worked matches in the ring, I received a one-to-five-star rating based on how I did in the and the show I put on for the crowd (if there’d been an audience besides good ol’ Bill). A match’s ebb and flow is also taken into consideration, so dominating against a jobber might not be best for business when you’re trying to tell a story in the ring. This made the new stamina bar (which I’ve now confirmed cannot be turned off) make a lot more sense, since it allowed my opponent a chance to get in a few strikes and provide at least a little bit of offense as I tried to catch my breath to perform my finisher. After the match, I got points to spend on my wrestler and level up his in-ring abilities, such as arm strength, speed, and stamina.

Once I was done messing around with my rookie, I flashed forward in my career and made it to the main RAW roster. At this point, I’d only been on the show a few weeks. It was immediately evident that no matter whether I won or lost, MyCareer mode would carry on and adjust accordingly. If I was in the midst of a rivalry, matches against other wrestlers weren’t as important, but they helped set up the story—a rival might interfere with our match or try to get in a cheap shot when I wasn’t looking. And even if I lost the match against my rival, I could still elevate my status in WWE and try to become a main-eventer.

Since the WWE had clearly invested a lot in me, though, in order to help elevate my brand, they wanted me to start a feud with an established star—and, in my case, I drew Daniel Bryan. I had the choice of shaking his hand to start a friendly rivalry or giving him a low blow. I gave him the low blow, which promptly started a “No!” chant led by my character.

I then flashed forward one more time to almost seven years into my career. By this point, I’d won a few titles, including the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and main-evented some pay-per-views. I was still wrestling at a high clip, but then Brock Lesnar decided to show up and demonstrate what he thought of me by F5’ing me in the middle of the ring. This prompted a Twitter feud between Brock’s advocate, Paul Heyman, and me, where I could choose to respond to Heyman via a couple of options—much like I had the choice on how to kick off my feud with Bryan. Meanwhile, in the ring, over the course of several weeks, Brock and I continued getting in each other’s faces—until finally, Heyman said the two of us would meet in a no-disqualification match at the next PPV.

Though I only saw a brief glimpse of MyCareer mode, it definitely feels like something that I could play again and again just to see how my superstar’s career could change each time based on decisions I made. Also, storylines you might see in real life started to unfold organically, which made it feel like I was watching actual WWE programming and not just playing a game. If MyCareer can give me this feeling for hours on end, WWE 2K15 now has a mode to elevate the franchise to the next level—and I can’t wait to really dig into it on the new generation of consoles

Not a bad rosters. I'm curious if they did any improvements to managers. It was lackluster having to always manual add them. I know in career you will sometimes get approached by one.

WWE 2K15 – Who Got NXT Developer Diary
By Bryan Williams, Senior Designer, Visual Concepts on Oct 24, 2014

With MyCareer being exclusive to Xbox One and PS4 versions of WWE 2K15, we (the design team) were tasked with creating a mode that would only be made available on Xbox 360 and PS3. With our creative juices flowing, just about everyone on the team immediately thought of NXT. We hadn’t developed a firm idea or concept regarding NXT; we only knew we wanted to incorporate NXT in our eventual idea. When the reality show aspects of NXT were dropped and NXT became its own brand, folks on the development team started to take notice. Within a matter of months, NXT became the show to watch. How could we not include this awesome corner of the WWE Universe in WWE 2K15?

When the day came to pitch our ideas, we still hadn’t come up with a fully fleshed out design, but we had settled on our core concept. In a nutshell, our idea was to create a compelling unlock method. We wanted to create a mode or area of the game where players could control a handful of NXT Superstars with the stipulation they’d be strictly confined to the mode and not be available for use outside of said mode until certain requirements had been fulfilled by the player – and when I mean confined, I mean confined! Until completing said requirements, NXT Superstars would be prohibited from all game modes (e.g. Exhibition, Online, Creation Suite, Universe), and their associated assets (e.g. moves, entrance videos, etc.) would be locked. We wanted the unlocking of an NXT Superstar to be similar to that of an actual NXT Superstar being called up to the main roster.

Who Got NXT focuses on five NXT Superstars – Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, Rusev, Corey Graves and Bo Dallas. I know Rusev and Bo Dallas are no longer on NXT, but they were during development of the mode. Each of the five NXT Superstars is assigned his own chapter consisting of four matches that players will need to complete in sequential order. The gameplay experience within each chapter is similar to 2K Showcase in that players are tasked with completing a number of optional objectives – three at the most – and a required match stipulation. The only way to advance to the next match is to complete the match stipulation. In most cases, the match stipulation states you must defeat your opponent via pinfall or submission, but on occasion, you’ll be asked to do something that deviates from the norm. While objectives are optional and won’t impede your advancement to the next match, it really is in your best interest to complete them unless you have no interest in receiving a plethora of NXT-related unlockables. I’ll delve more into those in a bit. Once you’ve successfully completed all four matches within a chapter you’ll unlock the featured NXT Superstar. All five chapters can be played concurrently, but as previously stated, the matches therein must be played in sequential order. You can also replay any match you’ve previously completed in the off chance you failed to complete an objective or if you’d simply like to play it again.

The matches in Who Got NXT aren’t direct recreations of real NXT matches. The matches in Who Got NXT are certainly inspired by matches held on NXT programming, but it wasn’t our intent to authentically recreate them as they actually occurred. Also, there is no interconnected narrative from one match to the next in these chapters. Each match is its own self-contained story, but we rely strictly on commentary to communicate said story. Commentary, specifically written for the mode, appears during each NXT Superstar’s entrance, victory scenes and of course, gameplay. The narrative of each match is communicated by the commentators during the entrance scenes, establishing why the match is taking place, and the narrative is reinforced during gameplay via back and forth play-by-play between commentators. Though matches aren’t connected to one another from a narrative standpoint, the chapters themselves definitely have their own overarching themes. The complete and utter destruction of one’s opponent is exemplified in Rusev’s chapter, and the objectives have been designed to support this theme. I’ll just say by the time you’ve completed Rusev’s chapter, you’ll be quite proficient at executing his Accolade finisher. Adrian Neville’s chapter revolves around his quest for the NXT Championship. Sami Zayn’s chapter is typified by his resiliency and fighting spirit (naturally, we had to pit Zayn against Cesaro). The Graves chapter asks the question, “Who is Corey Graves?” What’s he all about? What are his motivations? Bo Dallas’ chapter, which turned out to be one of my favorites (as I Bolieve), is characterized by his unrelenting desire to hold onto his NXT Championship at any cost. You’ll be ramming opponents into exposed turnbuckles, intentionally getting yourself (Bo) disqualified (it’s more fun than it sounds, trust me) and a number of other dirty tactics to maintain Bo’s grip on his beloved NXT Championship.

After unlocking all five NXT Superstars, there’s still gameplay to be had in Who Got NXT. After clearing all chapters, you’ll be able to participate in the new Proving Ground match! The Proving Ground is the spiritual successor to WWE 2K14’s Defeat the Streak. Whereas in Defeat the Streak, players were tasked with ending Undertaker’s WrestleMania winning streak (we all know how that turned out), in the Proving Ground match you’ll be facing off against the face of WWE and the face of WWE 2K15, John Cena! Like Defeat the Streak, John Cena will be controlled by the AI and will be very tough to defeat. When you enter the Proving Ground match for the first time, you’ll be shown a snippet of footage from the April 4, 2014 episode of SmackDown, wherein John Cena delivers an in-ring promo. The promo properly sets the stage for your encounter with Cena, as he essentially calls out the entire roster – and in particular – the new faces on the roster. The transcript of his promo is below:

The future is now! It is an exciting time to be in the WWE, as there are so many promising Superstars. So let me make a promise of my own. I am not The One. I am not the Viper. I am not the King of Swing. I am not the Boss! I am the measuring stick. I am the standard bearer. I am John … Cena! Any WWE Superstar can talk all they want, but past, present or future, they do know if they want their feet planted firmly on the top of the WWE mountain, well, they better go through me to do it!”

Following Cena’s incendiary promo, you’ll be transitioned to the Superstar select screen. Initially, you’ll only be able to select one of the five NXT Superstars to go against Cena. However, you will be able to unlock the entire roster (including created Superstars) if you defeat Cena using all five NXT Superstars. The match itself is a traditional, 1-on-1 match with a 30 minute time limit. The Proving Ground match also contains mode-specific commentary that can be heard during the entrance scenes, gameplay and victory scene. Like Defeat the Streak, you’re provided a score at the end of your match, and should you manage to beat Cena, you’ll be able to upload your score to the Proving Ground online leaderboard. Here’s a tip: if you force Cena to submit, you’ll score a huge win bonus!

Now that I’ve explained how to unlock the NXT Superstars (complete their respective chapters) and the Proving Ground match (complete all five chapters), so you’re probably wondering about those other NXT related unlockables I made mention of earlier. All you have to do is complete all of the objectives within each of the five chapters - it’s as easy as that! As a reward for doing so, you’ll receive the following:

    •NXT Arena
•NXT ArRIVAL Arena (only available on PS3 and Xbox 360!)
    •NXT Championship
    •NXT Tag Team Championship
    •NXT Women’s Championship

Well its been Questions & Answers this week from 2K but with that said ill just jot down on few points what the difference's are on LastGen & Next Gen consoles-

    PS3/360 Versions

    • Who Got NXT Mode (NXT ArRival Arena)
    • 100 CAW slots

    PS4/XBO Versions

    • My Career Mode
    • 25 Caw Slot

    WWE 2K15 NEXT-GEN Notes:

Just for a head up 90% of the Roster were scanned but I don't know everyone who was & wasn't! but the one guy I do know who wasn't scanned was The Rock, "2Ks Replay" he's busy man but 2K will be wish full to work with him in the future of wwe games.

Everyone on the roster can be edited in.

The Paint Tool has been removed, but they will be announcing a new feature that is better than the paint tool.

The main menu of the game will be different than the Previous Gen consoles.

The length of My Career is around 15 years in-game.

Superstars CAN get injured in My Career mode, but no injuries can be career ending.

The Universe changes are mainly the same between previous gen and next gen, but there are some changes to only the next-gen.

There will be a more strict policy online making it easier for players to be banned for breaking policy or rules.

2K options for future WWE games

No custom music on next-gen, but they are looking into this for the future.

There is NO face scanning technology in the game, but they are hoping to look at adding that in the future.

    .
And I am sad. If they did not have my career mode I would just go get it for my ps3. Really no paint tool? So a few steps forward, a few steps back.

The Paint Tool has been removed, but they will be announcing a new feature that is better than the paint tool.

umm I wonder what could be better than paint tool!!!

with the 25 Caw slot for NG consoles id say its enough for me anyways!! here's how ill play the caw slots -

    5 - NXT stars
    10 - 80s/Attitude Era stars - maybe 5 apiece
    10 - WCW/ECW stars - same as above

P.S - 2K are doing another Questions/Answers tonight to fill the weekend up of the Creation Suite, I wonder what they got in store to announce also I hear 2K will be posting NG entrances in coming weeks

This game is aweful. There was nothing wrong with old system why do this new grapple rock, pqper, scissors crap. Then the move r stick to find sweet spot but pc has a homing back on on it. Not to mention ps4 no season pass yet even though I entered code it did nothing. If they kept old system I could forgive it but this new system is terrible. Pass

I don't know why this made me laugh.Looking at it on the stream I am not surprised. Then I heard they will sell the old wrestlers through DLC.

Really that bad? but talking about the missing things that has gone put that to one side a minute! how is the game itself & My Career mode? is it worth it? with the lock mini grapple game u can turn that off I heard!! not to sure.

having second thoughts now after hearing so many bad reviews on the game which I hardly take any notice of but fans reviews seem a little annoyed with the game but that's more of the small groups who are just complete moaners, I want to know from a person who likes WWE games but don't moan about missing features, that's what you get introducing a new game to a new console they going to be left out.
