This is very good news. I hope this is a sign of more to come. DirectX on Mac?

Possible? OS choice is becoming more and more irrelevant as companies turn towards revenue from online services. .Net is an awesome development environment and, imo, the best product MS has ever made along with VS and C#. But it is dependent on Windows. As a developer, I'd like to be able to run my code anywhere. And frankly, I know I am not alone in the .Net developer world. Folks would be shocked at the number of Macs I see when I go to Visual Studio Live. And that includes the folks presenting the sessions, not just in the crowd. So Microsoft sees an opportunity in this, I think. Sell versions of VS across platforms and expand on its online code repository services. That starts with opening up the core so it can spread to other platforms.
