What's the most disturbing movie you've ever seen?

For me it's probably "I Spit on Your Grave" (2010 Remake).

Once were Warriors was the first disturbing movie I saw. As in, we came out of the theater and were shell shocked. No one spoke for about 15 minutes.

A Serbian Film is probably #1 for me. Absolutely disturbing. Flowers of Flesh and Blood and anything by Takashi Miike. The third part of Three Extremes made me not want to eat for a while.

Some parts of the new Evil Dead were nasty as $#@!.

I honestly found Serbian Film really boring, which I think kept me from taking some of its scenes more seriously.

The beginning to Sinister surprised me because the film took no time in jumping straight to the bad imagery. It was slow and gritty. Besides that nothing really hit me though.

A Serbian Film. It's a lot of shock content, but there are scenes in there that surprised me and are extremely repulsive. The newborn scene for example is probably the worst. Even if it's CGI. And the filmmakers excuse for putting all that $#@!ed up content in the film does not justify it at all. Steer clear of this movie or you'll never forget it for as long as you live.

Yeah ... I can deal with the rest of the film ... but the stupid $#@!ing infant scene is the reason it's on the top of my list. I can't recommend this movie to anyone. The people who made it have issues.

Well it's certainly not a good movie by any stretch of the imagination. It's just a movie stuffed full of unnecessary crap.

Has to be Salo for me. Most $#@!ed up and depraved thing I've ever witnessed. Never seen Serbian Film but I'm betting this movie is right there with it. I actually enjoy trying to find all the unanimous disturbing movies to see what all the hype is about. Salo so far that lived up to the horror stories. Martyrs was pretty $#@!ed too.

Probably a light-weight compared to these other movies mentioned (none of which I have heard of), but Seven with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman.....yeah, disturbed the hell out of me.

Cannibal Holocaust (1980, Uncensored Version) is probably the most disturbing movie I've seen. Everything that was fake and just "movie magic" wasn't that hard to watch, even if that too was quite disturbing, but the turtle scene was really hard to watch. Some scenes in Martyrs (200 was really disturbing too, imo.

Have you seen the full version of Dumplings? It's not exactly something that makes you hungry.

Was it just a disturbingly bad remake or was it disturbing in a disgusting way? I haven't seen it because I'm a big fan of the original movies and don't like the idea of this remake.

It was a good movie ... lots of nostalgic throwbacks to the original. But it's absolutely disgusting at times. You should see it if you're a fan of the original. There's even a nice little thing that end of the credits that'll make you squeal.

Most disturbing film is definitly a Serbian film

Most hard to watch scene would be the one camera no cut 5 minutes rape scene in Irreversible

I've seen a bunch of people say this but I don't remember the movie being that bad. I thought the raining blood part was awesome! Couldn't help keep hearing Slayer in my head. Quite possibly the most metal thing I've seen in a movie.

That's on my list on this $#@!ed up journey to see all the controversial movies lol.

I really liked it. I think it did the original homage. Not to mention they kept most of the iconic scenes mostly unchanged. Although it misses the thing that made it all awesome. That B movie feel and Bruce staring in the camera wide eyed and not doing anything when the $#@! is going down. Lol
