    Simpsons House Layout

Those two lounge rooms always confused me.

One has a TV and the other has a fireplace.
Often you'll see them sitting on a couch and one has an archway in the back and the other just a wall.
At first I thought it was the same room but they just kept messing around with it but it is actually two lounge rooms. (Both on the left-hand side first floor).

Why you'd design your house like that i'd never understand though.

Most houses usually has two living rooms.
The one we never see is the kids room in the back.

Not in America unless it's an older house. It's somewhat uncommon.

I converted my other lounge room into a gym room heh.
That said they aren't usually right next to one another.

I think it's the room directly to the right of the staircase in the first picture.
