i highly doubt it..besides the ps2 version of contra did not do soo well . however a game like contra the original one been made available for download through the arcade might happen..

Im hoping 2 see a contra on the PS3 I love contra.....but the last couple contra games havent been as fun, the last good Contra Game in my opinion is Contra 3 for the snes...

Well hes only 15 , what did you expect. He missed that era. If you own a 360 , its coming to live, so thats a good way to check it out.

Being only 15 means nothing.
I wasnt around when the movie Star Wars came out but i know what it is and saw it. Its the same for games you have to go back to the classics.

Well , Star Wars is popular , so its a bad comaprison. I wasnt being mean or anything , im just saying , Contra was in its prime back in the early 90s , so its no surprise you didnt know. Most gamers your age havent heard of it either , unless you have a big brother that grew up on it.

Sure Contra isnt as popular as Star Wars but Contra is still very well known.
This is the 1st time i have ever heard a gamer say they have never heard of Contra and im just taking it badly so if i sounded mean im sorry i overreacted.

All Contra games prior to PS1/Saturn will be available eventually on the Wii downloads. Along with the XBox live Contra coming soon.

This Contra 3 is the best of all the series........but hard. Well not as hard as Contra:Hard Corps on genesis was...damn anybody beat that damn game???

i cant believe youve never heard of contra. its was like the childhood game for boys. i was like 6-8 when it came out but i gues times have changed a bit since then.
i also liked the ps2 game the last one i think that came out it was a lot of fun.
still the first one is the best and always will be

I had a PS1 version of Contra. Something like legacy of war? I'm not sure. I just remember it was HARD to beat. Maybe I was just too young to own it. Not sure.

Contra is stuff. I have contra 3 on my computer. I used my snes controller to play it

I never played the ps2 version but isn't it similiar to the snes Alien war version? thats whay my cousin told me and I also saw the screens for it. It had the some of the same aliens like those dragon fly aliens. It brings back retro so thats why I want it for ps2 AND ps3. until then, I'll stick to my emu version
