    Any Internet speed test shows wired is more reliable.
    I showed my dad a few months ago that it would be faster by plugging hi laptop directly into the router, was not expecting the result we got, which was around 38mbit wireless and 63mbit wired on a 76mbit connection.

    speed isn't the issue. the issue is the ping. test your ping with and without wireless and see for yourself. if you play competitive online games, i would not recommend wireless.
