    I bought a PS3 system from Japan!

Its PlayStation3 Slim Model - Tales of Xillia X Edition (HDD 160GB Model) - 110V. I just want to know about the power thing that it will work in North America. According to few articles that I have read it will work as the Japanese voltage is 110 but the system has the power supply built in that will convert the power to 120V. Any confirmation on that? Thanks.

Almost all electronics in the last 15+ years have a universal power supply that works on all voltages worldwide from 110~250V. I have a launch Japanese PlayStation 3 and plugged it straight into the wall and it worked without a hitch. The UK's power is set between 230 and 250V. You won't have any issues, just grab a kettle lead and plug it straight into the wall. The days of the voltage steppers are long gone unless it's very specific specialised equipment.

    No problem.

Just remember that things like mobile phones, cameras, laptops, PC power supplies, tablets, mp3 players, etc., are all universal. For other equipment like video players, DVD/Blu-ray players, you might want to check the voltage range. If it's anything like 100~250 or in that range, it's universal.
