(¯`·._.-» lD lE /A lD ll\/ll /A ll\ll «-._.·´¯)

It's better just to put in the tags yourself..as when you do it by clicking on the buttons they often put the tags in the wrong spot.

08-03-2004 #4Like this [quote] at the begginning of your quote and at the end write [quote] but put a / in front of the quote, that will close it off.

I didn't put a / in front of those quotes cause if I did it would actually quote me...
Hope that helps u out

PS3 if your going to use the quote tags as examples make sure to put spaces like this [ quote ] so you dont quote yourself.

Some cool references
Just thought I would share two sites that referenced us in recent articles:
http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/TheFee ... index.html
and
http://www.kotaku.com/ (at the bottom of page 1/top of page 2)

This is really great, however, in the kotaku article it says this
However, Sony Computer Entertainment has told game site PS3 Land the following:
Please note that online gaming will be free right out of the box.
But Sony hasn't said anything to us, what should we do about this?

Hey, it's free publicity. So SONY didn't contact us, they're the ones that mis-interpreted it. Let them figure it out.

Still, I think that something should be done to clarify it. There could be some legal ramifications if Sony thinks we are spreading that.

It's probably because the PS3Land article didn't have a source and was misinterpreted (by both Kataku and G4).
Someone should let them know though, and it's pretty terrible writing ethic to not cite sources in articles. A lot of the articles on PS3Land don't and are written as if the people were talking to PS3Land directly :sWhy do people depend on eachother? ...When in the end your on your own.

Wow, somebodies getting a massive bonus.

I don't think we've, or rather I've, misled anyone in that article.
It just says Sony PR...like every other site that reported it.

Well I work with sony, and I state that PS3 will have free online right out of the box. So I guess I would be a "Sony PR" then

Well, when you get your info from another article or whatever and don't say so (kind of like "in an interview with ________ Sony PR manager ________ said ________"), it's called Plagarism. Here's more info on it : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plagarism

Similarly, sites which are referencing PS3Land are saying things like this:
However, PS3 Land is reporting that Sony's PS3 online service will indeed be free as in beer.
Even sites which are known for posting untrue news cites sources and links to articles they got their info from, so I don't see how a site which is trying to be professional, like PS3Land, can't do the same. Why do people depend on eachother? ...When in the end your on your own.

Fair enough, I do that from time to time, but I'll try to remember to do it more often.

Ouch. How about update the PS3Land article and add a note or something?
Why do people depend on eachother? ...When in the end your on your own.

Will update once I've got Cera's preview up.
Any suggestions on what to put?
-

Updated. This is what I put:
It has come to our attention that many sites are crediting us for contacting Sony. We'd like to make it clear that Sony's PR Manager has not been in direct contact with us, and we have merely relayed information from various other news websites.

I know, I was just saying that we're getting a lot of references. This is getting crazy like good crazy.
