If someone asked me what a Play Station was until just recently, I would have said...a Make Believe Kitchen or Dress Up to be a Doc or Nurse station for my 2 year old.

I have been enlightend thanks to Walmart, Toys R Us and especially THIS LOVELY HEARTLESS website!

As any loving wanting to make her hubby happy on xmas morning would do...I did my research on this "geek loving object" (and I say that with all due respect! ) and began my gut wrenching quest to do my due diligence and locate one! Just one mind you...not 3 or more to sell on EBAY for some shameful price. Just one measly PLAY STATION 3 thingy.

Lord, I still don't know what it does! Nor do I care to know. All I know is it makes my hubby happy and he sure has had one heck of a year with one horrific event after another with family events. He DESERVES one! This is why I am searching high and low for one and embarrasing myself at places like Walmart of all places. You call and some kid gets on the phone that sounds like he is 15 and with a serious tone he tells you RUNNNNNNNNNNN we have 3 more, but we can't hold any.

NOw picture this...I am in the funeral/cemetery business! I burry people for a living. Can you picture ME saying, Excuse me why I run in my high heels through the cemetery literally and over to Walmart to buy my loving hubby a PS3??? It doesn't look very professional. (GEEZ, the things we desperate wives will do to make our hubbys happy!)

I drive rather quickly across town and leave my funeral to my assistances and runnnnn down the asisle with my high heels on to claim my PS3. I'm picturing in my mind the expression my hubby is going to have on his face on xmas morning as I walk up to the counter to speak to Junior and.....

"Were you lady (gigle...gigle) that just called asking for a PS3?" Yes, yes in deed I. "I'm sorry, I was just kidding. We havn't had one in here in 3-4 weeks. We just thought it was funny to watch someone come running!" After I give him a sharp tongued talking to with eyes that could kill, he turned in his badge and said he had met his match and quit. Not the end result, but I along with countless other wives I am sure...if they came forward with many similar stories right now. Would love to hear them.

I held my high and turned around and went back to the office. This is, however, the 12th time I went to a store promising to have them to only be told, I'm sorry we just sold our last one 2 hours ago. I'm on this quest to find one and I don't give up.

However, for something I have no idea what it is or what it does except it is black and unattainable and my hubby would really love one...I did't want to give up. I am not a quitter.

One last story as to why I am so MAD at PLAY STATION 3 the Company itself...YES...ADMINSTRATOR READ UP AND GET A GOOD LAUGH AT MY EXPENSE! I'M SURE YOU ENJOY THIS MISERY! This time of year some, NOT ALL wives can become very nasty and down right witchy when it comes to shopping. To prove my innocence, I was shopping in Toys R Us yesturday minding my own business carefully selected all of my gifts I had planned to purchase for our 2 and 6 year old. Mind you, some items were hot items and no more to be found. I turned around for 1 minute to reach for a book, turned around and SOMEONE STOLE my cart with all my gifts!!! I am a tough woman, believe me, but I was so mad I wanted to cry.

I had 5 stock boys running up and down the aisles looking for my cart, most likely affraid to find the cart because of what I might do to the suspect! D I never found it!! NOW the interesting part relating to PS3. I walk to the electronics department and decide I am going to let it go and start over. Keep in mind I have already gone to 12+ places begging for this imaginary PS3 (do they really exsist?) I see this huge display with dozens and dozens of stacked black boxes looking extremely realistic of PS3's. I haven't gotten to close to touch one yet! (again, do they really exsist? ) I was so tired and my mind was racing from my cart being stolen and thinking that was 3 hours I would never get back, so I reached up and as I did to grab a PS3 (or so I thought...and keep in mind Toys R Us was crammed pack with hundreds of nuts) a false sense of weight hit me with the empty box. YES, it was empty! Because of that I fell into the huge, huge display of dozens and dozens and dozens of Play Station 3 EMPTY BOXES on display to show the geeks what they will look like to irratate them even more!

Are you still with me, especially the ADMINISTRATOR of PS3? Work with me. Picture dozens of this boxes tumbling down all around this dainty woman that just a few moments ago was yelling at the poor stock boys to find her *&%$ cart please of course!

I swear I just allowed these boxes of empty PS3's to cover my face and I sat there and cried for 20 minutes. Then I got up and said, "Ok...That was useful information to read up on the back of the box." and left. Don't ask! True story! PS3 should be ashamed of yourselfs to allow this kind of display for some unknowing wife to come by and maybe to do the same!

Now last but not least, (LOVE to VENT...thank you for that at least you geeky PS3 people that should be ashamed of yourselfs for all this advertising and false hope over a computer thingy that most all can't get their hands on right now, especially for Christmas! DO you realize how many sad wives there will be that really wanted so bad to get one for their hubby, or parents that wanted for their kid? Lord forbid some lonely geek with no family wanting one so badddd and on Christmas morning it would have taking their minds off being sad and alone??

What happend to CHRISTMAS MIRACLES - PS3 ADMINSITRATORS?

What the last straw was for me, I sign up for this contest on this sight to have a chance to empty my rainy day savings account out of love to buy this geeky thing for my loving hubby on AMAZON for a special promotion in hopes I will be chosen to purchase one, I wasn't. WOW....how far can you torture these poor people with this toy?

If my hubby didn't say that this PS3 thingy was all he really wanted for Christmas, (GEEZ, I wish he would have said, peace on earth, it would have been easier achieving! )I wouldn't be wasting my valuable time venting, I would go back to work in my lab and keep embalming for now...

However, for now....hope you, meaning the PS3 Administration group rests well and enjoy playing with your PS3 thingy, I am sure you earned it!
