That`s actually the main reason I started again... I originally didn't want to play because I didn't want to fork out 40 bucks for Cata, but when my buddy told me about the scroll it was too hard to pass up.

I actually purchased Cata when it first came out, and played it for that first month (December). I wasn't really digging it, got my Warlock to 85 and did instances and $#@!. But, a free level 80 is sooo tempting from that Scroll - especially since my WoW itch has started coming back lately. I'll have to think about it, and consider the fact that I have a $#@!load of PS360Vita games to get through :C

An insta level 80 priest would be nice

State of the World (of Warcraft)

Ok, i played WoW for about 3 months back during the burning crusades era. I liked it for the first 2 months and then it just got repetitive and boring so i quite. I really got bored as $#@! playing it. A buddy of mine is pressuring me to play again cus he wants someone to play with but i'm pretty damn hesitant. So i was wondering if some one could explain the "state of the world" so to speak. I'm sure its way different than when i played so i'm just wondering if it will be worth it or not. I'd like recommendations:

    PROS/CONS or YES OR NO

I suppose it'll be fun to play with someone, but at the moment i'm stuck in the boredom zone between expansions. So I don't know really, play now with your friend or wait till Pandaria releases then join back up then and see if you like it.

Wait until Mists. Unless your buddy plays on extremely high pop servers like Illidan, Mal'Ganis or Tichordrius (US)/Ravencrest or Blackrock (EU), then you'll find nothing but servers with minimal activity.

Holy $#@!. That was AMAZING! Blizzard never fail to knock it out the park with their CG cinematics. Kinda tempting me to get back into it. I'll come to my senses shortly...

someone feel like hitting me up with a scroll? Get free upgrade to cataclysm when you revive so seems like a good deal to me. Stopped playing with a lvl 72 character, never maxed out so that is my aim right now. Get some good armor etc.

I had played WoW back when Burning Crusade was the only expansion, but had to quit when I lost my job & internet. Then my account got hacked & sold on eBay, so I never saw a reason to start it up again. I recently d/l'ed it since it's Free To Play, and it's kinda fun, but I just started and I don't know anyone on the game anymore.

Yesterday I got an email from Blizzard offering WoW/Burning Crusades, Lich King, Cata and Pandaria all digitally for $60, in advance of Pandaria coming out next month. I'm bad with temptation, so I got it.

First of all, that's a good sale for anyone who needs the expansions - WoW/Burninig Crusades for $5, Lich King $5 & Cata $10 - and if anyone has a realm to suggest I'm all ears.

    Shut up and play games

So how is any WoWers enjoying Pandaria then?

I have to say it's my favorite expansion so far, loving everything about it. Well most things apart from the stupidly long wait for non-heroic dungeons as a DPS. Making money is more simples too.

I love the expansion too. So many huge improvements. What I don't like though is the $#@!ton of dailies for rep grinding. I've been 90 for roughly a week and I'm sick of em. Just can't wait till I can start raiding with my guildies.

Been reading and watching a lot of things regarding MoP. I am so tempted to start playing again, lol. It looks wonderful and the last expansion I really enjoyed was The Burning Crusade. I'll hold off for the time being. I have only 1 exam after Christmas so perhaps I'll re-sub during the holidays. I'll probably level my 85 Undead Warlock or 85 Orc Warrior

Can't say I miss the dailies/rep grind though

‘World of Warcraft’ falls below 10 million subscriptions

It may still be the king of subscription-based video games, but Activision Blizzard’s massively multiplayer World of Warcraft is now back below 10 million subscribers.
The publisher just released a summary of its fourth quarter earnings for 2012, and for the most part, the news is pretty positive. Blizzard Entertainment produced the two top-10 PC games in North America and Europe in 2012, which were Diablo III and World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria.
However, subscriptions for WoW dropped by around 400,000 people from the last call, lowering the total number to 9.6 million. That’s a significant amount just months after the release of an expansion.

The remaining information about the company can be found here.
