I was just curious as to what you guys thought about the reviews of many of the ps3 launch titles. It seems that every multi-platform game looks better and plays better on the xbox 360. I'm not hating on SONY but I really wasn't expecting every multiplatform game to not be equal. I mean time restrictions couldn't be the sole purpose, could it?

How much do you expect these companies to pour into first generation titles on a more demanding system that will only have a few million units anytime soon? You know the answer to the question before even asking it.
PS3 = subpar graphics? Motorstorm kinda blows that theory out of the water.

The exclusives right now look better than what's on any other system, the reason you're seeing so many glitches in the multiplatform games is because alot of them were rushed for launch. Some of them only started development a few months ago.

I can sum this up pretty quick... 360 has been out for a year, PS3 isn't even out yet. Any questions?

And I've said it before too, the PS3 is so powerful that developers don't know what to do with it yet. Give it time.

When developers make games with the 360 as the primary console and then
port them over to the PS3, of course they are going to run worse.
The 360 is a different architechture than the PS3.

yeh motorstorm is the reason im getting the ps3, it does look awesome.
i read that 11 page article and they made a big deal about the graphics card in the xbox 360 and how the ps3 couldnt do textures like that. Is there any truth to that? also what was up with them saying gears of war couldnt be done on the ps3?

call of duty on ps3 is supposed to be alot worse, but resistance makes up for it in a big way

Its called a port i dont care how nice you make a game if your gonna start it on one systemand then port it to another its gonna be ****ty its not sonys faults its the game developers. thats why i love developers like hideo kojima who make a game for that specific system and utiliszes all the strengths of it So yeah BLAME DEVELOPERS not the system

Sorry but I don't get it.
What I've said is based on what developers at Epic have expressed and in answer to a legitimate question. I know the PS3 can use more than 256MB but since its memory isn't unified it will have to deal with bandwidth issues to communicate both segments. Gears of War uses more than 256MB of graphic memory. It's pretty simple.
I have to hit the sack anyways, so I can't continue with this conversation for today.

Don't let people sway you with this one, the PS3 can do gears but what it can't do is have gears ported to it. If this game was built from the ground up on the PS3 it could run it exactly as seen on the 360 and if more work was done to the build then it could even acheive more than what was seen on the current gears.

Can't you just wait a couple more months before judging the PS3s graphics?! My goodness the thing hasn't even launched yet and dude the multi-plat developers had more time with the Xbox360 than PS3 cause they were more familiar with the system since it's one year old.
Just wait for MotorStorm. PLEASE.

Gear is not that great you know? the whole game is cover with mostly dark color (black). Even the blood is black, it dosn't seem that hard to pull it off. It take Epic 3 years to make gear and people are comparing it to R:FOM which is only a 1 year game. Some even try to compare it to Killzone CGI trailer and some are saying that it look better than Crysis lOl.
About that bandwidth issue you said, the hell is wrong with you? I think you need to do more research on this stuff kid, you're lossing it to yourself. I also like how you try to mislead people by only mentioning 256mb out of the 512mb total ps3 ram. One more thing, I also seen you and compgeek up in at news4gamers.com bashing the ps3 all days with your 360 friends there. You and him really need to start playing your 360 already and stop posting BS about the PS3.

meh look at pc games from 1 year to the next. All hardware?
Development tools/more effecient coding/advances in computer animation etc. All available to x360 as well.
How long is the 1yr defense gonna last? Do you really think x360 won't be posting bigger and better games in a year just like sony?
I will say Sony probably has the hardware advantage...but I just don't see it completely outpacing the x360 within 3-5 years. And I'm not saying x360 will be better either...it'll be about the same as last gen...no big deal.

GeOW does look good, but in my opinion, the map areas that you can fight in look a bit tight, and the number of high detail enemies on screen at a time seems very small compared to most games.Nos Locos kick your ***, Nos Locos kick your face, Nos Locos kick your balls into outer space!
