The Clippers are something you want in a basketball game. Clipping is not.
http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/sports/n...ml?sid=6161685NBA 07 on the PlayStation 3 doesn't have the entertaining story mode that the PlayStation 2 version has, but it does have most of that version's flaws, and some new ones, too.
The Good: Multicolored shot meter works well; nba replay is fun for a short while.
The Bad: The Life story mode is nowhere to be found; no announcers; unimpressive graphics; poor artificial intelligence and buggy gameplay; $20 more than the superior ps2 version.
For a number of years now, Sony's first-party basketball games haven't been very good. In fact, SCEA recently benched the series for a season in an effort to right the ship. It didn't help much, though the hiatus did spawn one interesting feature in NBA 06--a story mode that followed the on- and off-court life of a rookie NBA player. The Life was further refined in NBA 07 on the PlayStation 2 and was easily the most enjoyable aspect of an otherwise unremarkable game. Unfortunately, The Life didn't make it into NBA 07 on the PlayStation 3, and the game suffers for it, because there's nothing to hide the shallow season options and flawed gameplay.

They did say it was bad. But its not worse then Madden version on the 360 that I saw. The players would go through each other. But I find that common in games.

How many times do people have to say it. NBA 07 is NOT NBA LIVE 07. NBA LIVE which is made by EA was canned for the PS3. Though i can see how people who don't follow sports games can mix up the two.

This game is made by Sony.

Bad launch title scores?
I've seen 5 or so already in the high 8's and Resistance getting high 9's. Gears of War esque scores.
FEAR and Oblivion will be avaliable at launch and those are two of the best games of their respective genres ( according to the mass public anyway, Oblivion didn't do much for me ).__________________________________________________ _____________________________

It's a pretty harsh score, but I expected this. It was Sony's first attempt at a next generation basketball game... Some of the gameplay videos looked okay, but wasn't really smooth. I think it had it comin.
