The fact that I can't use this awesome wheel/pedal/shifter combo from Logitech.
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/pr...ONTENTID=11867
$300 might seem like alot to some of you guys, but the features it offers until now have only been found on much more expensive "enthusiast grade" setups. For instance, gated shifter, clutch pedal, leather wrapped wheel (nearly life-size), etc, etc.
Not being able to use this on the 360 is a huge letdown for me, as it will work on PC, PS2, and PS3. I refuse to buy a second-rate MadCatz wheel for the 360, so I guess this means I'll be missing out on some great 360 racing titles (I love PGR3 and TD:Unlimited).
Maybe soon MS will realize it's worthwhile to allow USB controllers?

That thing is a POS compared to the Logitech, and I REFUSE to buy it as well, the Logitech is so much nicer....I would rather play with a controller, the point of the wheel is to simulate, and the 360s wheel doesn't simulate properly, most the cars in Forza will infact have sticks and not paddle shifters.

Yeah, I'm normally not an "elitist" by any means. But when it comes to my racing games (my greatest video game enjoyment) I refuse to settle for second-rate crap to be honest with you, and that's exactly what the current Xbox driving setups are. Even the Forza wheel for Xbox1 I absolutely despised, it just didn't feel right.

Well, sorry then. I apologize for coming in the 360 forum and talking about the 360. I also figured there might be some PC and PS3 gamers here who might be interested in this wheel.
If it's such a useless topic, I apologize, please close it.
If not, wipe the sand out of your vagina, and move on.

ff81, the G25 is exclusively licensed for PC and PS2 (I presume PS3 too) so connectivity isn't the problem, licensing is.
I too want that wheel bad but what can you do?

Oh ok, so it's a licensing issue?
That sucks, I never researched it much, I was just told that MS wasn't going to allow wheel/pedal setups that weren't designed specifically for the 360 due to some proprietary software/hardware or some crap. I guess I shouldn't have believed it without doing some research first.
I'm really going to miss playing games like Forza 2 and PGR4 on 360. I refuse to play racing games with a standard controller, it just takes the fun out of it for me.United States Air Force Enlisted E-5

There is always the Wireless racing wheel that has just been released...it's Force Feedback. Should do the job.

I bought the Logitech driving force pro wheel about 2 years ago and since then wont buy anything below 900 degrees...the ms wheel is crap and i really hope someone manufactures a high quality one. I would be willing pay up to 300 for it if its near the G25's quality.

I think the Logitech G25 wheel is the one designed for GT5. I don't see Logitech making a better wheel than it specifically for PS3. They will probably come out with $100 or so "upgrade" for the GT4 wheel, but it will have 2 pedals, no shifter, and an unrealistic feel. More meant for the casual racer, not for someone like myself and many others out there who are willing to spend the $300 for a GOOD wheel setup.

You are mistaken twice, sorry to say.
This wheel does work with the PS3, I haven't verified it personally, but a guy on AVS Forums has tested this specific wheel on the PS3, and he said it works just fine, force feedback and all.
Just because the PS3 controllers don't support rumble doesn't mean the games can't. It's already been stated somewhere before that F1 Championship will support steering and full force feedback as well as GT5.United States Air Force Enlisted E-5
