Best games

I am braced for the psp release in Australia on September 1st. I know very little of the psp games so I would apreciate it if some people could tell me the best games in each genre and tell me if i've missed any genres.

Shooting:
Sport:
Fighting:
Racing:
Strategy/puzzle:

For racing I'd say Wipeout Pure. As for shooting there is basically only Metal Gear Acid, and Coded Arms, well by basically I mean that's all. Strategy/Puzzle I'd go with Lumines. I don't know about any RPG's or Fighting games out right now though, and sports it just depends on what you like. You could go with Fifa 2005, I guess, that would be my choice at least.

I, for the most part, agree with you. The only thing I disagree with is the strategy/puzzle game. Instead of lumines, I’d go with mercury. I bought lumines for a friend because I heard it was a lot of fun, but when I played it I was surprisingly disappointed. Also, there is one RPG on the market; Untold legends. So, to sum things up:

I'm currently debating between 3 games: Wipeout Pure, Lumines, and Mercury. I've heard good things about all of them, but I'm quite befuddled with this decision. I would like Wipeout Pure because I'm buying the replacement alanog sticks which would make WP a great game to test em out on, compared to Lumines or Mercury. Anyways what would you guys say about those games?

I'm aware of that but I just couldn't be bothered hunting down the best game for each genre


Heres what I got so far:

RPG: I think it's safe to say final fantasy when it comes out
Shooting: Metal Gear Acid
Sport: I've heard good things about Hot shots golf (im not into soccer games)
Fighting: *unreleased*
Racing: Judging by Gamespots ratings I would say Wipeout pure
Strategy/puzzle: Lumines
Oh and action, I missed action: Grand theft auto when it comes out

don't worry alot of psp games are coming out this year, just give them time. the best will be out around the end.
