What HD for the 360?

All games are required to run at least in 720p as default minimum. A good 30% of titles also include native support for 1080i. One title currently does native 1080p. Around 90% of titles also include native support for 480i/p.
Regardless, all games will run in any of the resolutions. The 360 will upscale all games to 1080p if you want it to. Or in my case (I have a Sony VVEGA XBR400 CRT 36"), my TV only does 480p and 1080i (no 720p), so all games work just fine in 1080i.This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Will this TV be fine for an Xbox 360? I do plan to update mid next year when I can get a HDTV for dirt cheap.

I say its perfect since its a 20 inch you wont notice a lot of the blur picture like with other bigger CRT tvs, plus has component which will improve picture.
Funny sig animations, but unfortunately, they're too large (the maximum allowed size is 35KB for sig pics combined). - The_One

That seems to be a good budget TV. If you can, try to save up some money and get yourself a nice, small LCD. Heck, you can even buy a LCD monitor and connect it to your XBOX using VGA cables. I've seen nice 20" LCD monitors for about $200. That will give you a much better picture and the tradeoff for size and weight is a major plus. But I see you're only 14 years old, so start mowing lawns or getting paid under the table.
Ok, someone wants to die. Who changed my background to a picture of Mr. Clean?!?

I do have $400 but, I'm using this as a starter fund for the car I plan to get in 2 years. I also wanna hold out until mid next year because well I'm sure the money that I don't use for a car will go towards a bunch of 360 games.
I could try that allowance thing....
Edit: I have a 19" LCD monitor, and I know what cable I need but I have no clue how the sound works. None of my speakers have the red or white ports.

Ahh, well for about $5 you can goto Radio shack and get an adapter that will give you a female 1/8th inch stereo jack to a pair of femail red and white RCA adapters.
Using this you can connect the Red and White from the VGA cable up to any headset or common computer speakers. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
